One of the best shows on TV right now.
Agree. I loved the first season it was superb. Now it’s just a bit silly and extremely cliched.
The characters were interesting in the first season but now they’re just annoying and exaggerated.
The writing seems a lot different in season 3. I will check out the new season though for sure, Damien Lewis is a fine actor.

I disagree with this. Suits had a very douchy side to it that Billions has so far avoided, aided mainly by the very high quality of acting (of the 3 main characters in great part). Good also that Lara's character is less and less present, it's a bit stupid and Malin Akermann is not a very good actress.
Finally got round to watching the new episode... Thought it was a great start, really looking forward to the season and watching Chuck claw his way back to the top.

Billions is farcical and extremely dumb. But it’s still great fun and good tv. It’s like I’m watching video game cut scenes at times which is fine.

I think that's fair, but there's very few shows that avoid this trap unfortunately.
