Been a while since there was a thread like this.

I'm actually not sure who'd be in my top 10. Won't do goalkeepers.

Off the top of my mind:

Suarez
Robben
Neymar
Aguero
Modric
Muller
Iniesta
David Silva

I haven't watched enough "other" European football to really comment, outside of the EPL, Real, Bayern & Barca. But has Robben been fit and back to his best to make the list? These are always difficult lists because do we base it off the previous 6-12 months? Or do we base it on current season form? (even though were only a handful of matches in).

The order of the 3-10 is entirely subjective, I've just listed the names. I won't be mad if you replace the last two, as they never seem to be fit for more than a month. Benzema, Lewandowski, Neuer, De Gea, Modric are just some of the many decent enough candidates. Plenty of good players nowadays.
 
Müller and David Silva should be in everyone's list, as the currently best players in the Bundesliga and PL, respectively.

you seriously think De Gea is better than Neuer? De gea is probably the 2nd best in the world - but Neuer is better right now.

Muller has to be in there somewhere. I'd put him in the top five to be honest.

Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, Neymar, Muller.

Left out a couple of popular, well established Top 10 player who have either started regressing, or will decline significantly in the coming months - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Andres Iniesta and Arjen Robben. Rather subjective has to be said.

EDIT : Top 2 in that order, maybe even Top 3. Then it's mix and match.

Yeah I do. Neuer is good but I can't see De Gea making the types of mistakes Neuer did against Scotland.

Not including goalkeepers. Not sure on the order from 5-10, but the first 4 walk in and are a level above the rest IMO.

Yeah, they're at a similar level probably but Neuer has definitely made a lot more mistakes over the past 2 years then De Gea has.
