I hope that Berbatov is strong enough to resist Man City. It would be a step down to an inferior club. We need to do everything it takes to get him here. We have let various players go and can surely afford to bring just one player in.
 
But at the moment if he resists City he is stuck at Spurs. There is no way he wants that so he could well go to City unless someone else stumps up the fee for him.

Shows how stupid they are ---- a strong city is just one more club between them and any hope of a top four place.

Apparently Marca say that Real have entered the talks for Berbatov.

It's turned into a nightmare, hasn't it?

City, who have been mocked by majority on here for the entire Summer, have stepped in and made a bid for Berbatov exactly when United were expected to do so. Meanwhile, nothing has happened from United's side.

We have only ourselves to blame to be honest.

Our negotiating team deserves sacking over this.

No way would he sign for Cit,y he might as well just stay at Spurs.
 
There is no way Berba will go and play for City. This nob that has bought City, apparently likes to be the centre of attention and we are all playing into his hands. The bid has been accepted and so was the one for Ronaldiniho, big deal.

Even IF it does go through, Beba for £30m + No thanks. (Even in our current position).
 
there is talk of city getting him for 35mil, we wont got that high for him, and spurs wont want to sell to us for less. Berba doesnt want to stay at spurs so unless we up our bid it looks like he will go to city.

Lets hope that Manucho is the black pele
 
Whatever happens this forum is going to erupt in a few hours..

And the damage could be worse than Hurricane Gustav.
