14.27 Mark Hughes has confirmed to Sky Sports News that Manchester City have had a bid for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov accepted, and he now hopes to meet the striker to discuss a shock move to Eastlands.

its a miracle ..
saha passed his medical

Sriker Louis Saha has completed his move to Everton from Manchester United on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee, but Victor Obinna has been refused a work permit.

If he does go to City, we only have ourselves to blame. If we wasn't such tight bastards in the first place, we would've signed him up weeks ago.

We may have faults, but deciding against throwing money round like confetti is not one of them i would say.

Theory:

Berbatov spends the weekend on a camping holiday in the peak district, cooking sausages and bacon with remarkable dexterity. He agrees to sign for United and drives across town, stopping off at Eastlands to take a giant shit in Hughes toilet as a symbolic gesture of loyalty to the reds. He then gets back in the Berbamobile and drives on to OT, where he signs. Simple.

have we made a higher bid yet, are we going to lose out to shitty, damm it be embarrassing for us.

that helps.

I am impressed. Well done Saha. Now he will probably play every game this season.

Got a bad feeling about this. We are Manchester United, they are Manchester Shitty, what the feck is going on?

Anyone else hearing the BENZEMA rumours? Apparently he's heading to Manchester for a medical. Watch this space.

Hughes and co are going to wow him with heir grand vision, and tales of how they are now up there with chelsea financially.
And when he sees the wage offer his head will be turned.

Breaking news!!

He has just signed!

According to reports it's with Vodafone.

T-mobile just doesn't seem too offer the same reception quality in Manchester as it does in London.

Just waiting for his PAC code before he is transfered.

£35 the fee apparently.

Updated odds:

Berba to United today: 2/7
Berba to City today: 3/2

So who's our back-up plan IF Berba screws us over?

Surely Fergie can't rely on Rooney and Tevez to get the goals.

Fraizer won't get us a lot of goals this season, also subject to a move to fecking Hull.

Manucho is injured, and we can't expect him to get over 15? 10? goals this season.

Rooney and Tevez could get injured, they are not fecking machines and they will get fatigued this season.

people are getting much to nervous. Need to chill. We all knew it was a busy day today, poyet said this and yet some were waiting last night.....feck me, relax people

have spurs actually said they accepted a bid from city? I don't see a club statement. must be blind

Its not Berbatovs fault. He has tried his hardest and in the end United were the ones who didn't offer the money for Spurs.

After all thats gone on he has to leave Spurs and the only club in for him is City.

Seems spurs fans don't want us to sign Berbatov because we've been cnuts in this saga. How exactly is that? We've never said Berba's name. We've made bids and haven't talked to the player. How's that make us cnuts?

There is no way Berba will play for City. FFS. IF he is heading to speak with Sparky, its only to get up to Manchester. He will have two words to say to him, "GET REAL!"

fergie has sold and not bought before, i think this thread has finally died guys, United seem to be a little out of touch with the day.

Spurs have accepted a City bid reportedly over £30 mil, no word from OT but I doubt we will offer that much. It might well end up depending on Berbatov telling spurs its United or nothing I guess

SAF better sign somebody today as if we're left with just Rooney and Tevez then we're in BIG trouble. This could be a monumental feck up by Utd and the coaching staff, we should have sorted this out days ago and now City have stole in and I wouldn't bet against them signing him.
