I thought Berbatov wanted trophies? How can Hughes convince him that City are a club capable of challenging for the prem.
 
I think Hughes is taking the piss to be honest, hes playing golf at the moment according to the reporter, if this waz true do you not think Hughes would drop everything hes doing?
 
At this stage, its very unlikely that we ll see Berba at OT, at least before the next transfer window.

It's just funny that City are so desperate to mix it with United like this. Their obsession is almost scouser-like.
 
This reminds me of when Newcastle made a bit for Rooney and forced the PLCs (at the time) hand, later it was suspected Robson was doing a favour for Fergie.

Wonder if Hughes is doing the same thing here for Fergie, maybe Fergie is trying to force Gill and co into stumping up the extra few million.

Relax guys. Hughes is only meeting with him to ensure that this thread takes over the Ronaldo thread. When that happens, Berbatov automatically becomes a Utd player.
 
Relax people the Berb is on his way to Manchester first to meet with City and say "Thanks for the offer but no thanks" he will then make his way over here and complete his medical all in time for tea

I have said this time and time again. What is the difference in £25 and £30 million for a player of his class. He is made for OT. He would set the place alight. Truly the final piece of the jigsaw.
 
Its not him choosing them over us its Spurs accepting their bid and allowing them to talk. As far as I am aware we are not allowed to talk to him yet.

Why would anyone want to play for city. Their players are rubbish, he will feel like hanging himself by the time January comes after playing with that lot of inept donkeys.
