"One insider at Spurs told me on Saturday that the Bulgarian is an intensely private individual who detests the attention which being a footballer brings and who is uncomfortable with the adulation. You only have to hear the shrieks of excitement that greet the sight of even John O'Shea walking through the players' car park at Old Trafford to know that at Manchester United attention and adulation are guaranteed."

I disagree the last bit. I think in the past United overpaid during transfer dealings was a way to maintain harmonious relationship between clubs.

If the deal is 25m then we are overpaying already. But there are ways and means how to conduct a transfer.

In an interview a few pages back, he said he loves when people come up to him and shake his hand etc when they meet him. He'll be fine.

With compliments from a newbie.

Nice body. Small set of berbs though.

Why do you need it to be enormous, are you going to eat them?

Anyway, are we in for Berbatov, or his partner?

Take it easy buddy. No need to get all aggresive. I'm just looking out for the wellberbing of manchester united.

A happy player is a productive player. And mitko to be happy, its important for his woman to have at least decent sized berbs.

Aggressive? you're kidding me. :)

There are reports and claims of fee up to 30mp to 30mp respectively!

Its not just the fee, its about coming to a solution together and like adults. The club may issue an official statement that while they understand Levy's frustration, there had been talks which had showed that this big tapping up story was clearly a misunderstanding. We get Berbatov, Levy gets his money and the story ends up in a happy ending.

Levy is a smart man, and we hope he knows what he is doing. The Dossier thingy has put a damper on the relationship, and we wish this saga has a good ending for all.

That's my point. There is nothing wrong in giving them a helping hand to get them out of this mess.

Got to feel for Ramos in all this.

Feel for the Spurs fans as well to be honest. It`s the way of the world though, big fish eat the smaller ones. The Tiger shark that is Real Madrid tried to eat us this summer as well. Sadly they forgot that we`re Great Whites.Great Whites>Tiger Sharks>Goldfish

Surely 'great reds'...

Millions that will be lost no matter what Levy's decision is. Can't you see that Levy is in a no win situation? If he sells the player, then his reputation is ruined. If not then he will have a player who will try constantly to hinder the team's morale.

Now we can either stay at the window ceil watching Spurs sink or else we can act like adults and try to give them an e way to get out of this mess with their heads held high. Honestly Id rather not see us make new enemies. We already have too many of them already.

Ah, you're forgetting the death-bed utterance of Prime Minister Palmerston in 1865;

'I'm glad to see that the world is getting back to a healthy state - every nation for itself, and the devil take the hindermost!'
