He's only as good as Andy Johnson in your opinion then?
Clue-fecking-less.
Im abit sceptical about the price tag but knowing Liverpool paid £20 million for a 28 year old Robbie Keane makes me feel alot better. I think were going to have to get used to paying huge amounts for players in todays market.
Why?
30 million is fecking ridiculous for someone who will be 3rd choice striker and has only got 2 more seasons in him.
15 million max
Just like they mugged us with Carrick.
This has long since happened
We should have signed Amauri. Juventus got a fecking bargain

3/1 is a very good bet. He will be starting for Spurs against Boro I'm 100% sure of that. Odds will crash on SaturdayBerbatov is now 3/1 at Betfair to stay and 1/9 to leave.
All the main money is coming for him to leave at present.

Amauri is a better playerWhy are you trying to save money
He is 28 you mug and is banging goals in for Juve
He's 28, is reliant on pace and strength and has a less than average goals to game ratio over his career. He's nowhere near as good as Berbatov.

So anyway, explain how he's better than Berbatov.
He's Brazilian. That make Lucas better than most midfielders in the world according to scouse fans
Well for one Amauri is brilliant in the air which is what we need
He's such an average player, which is surprising since he came with a fair bit of hype. Just seems like a hard-working midfielder with very little to his game.
I've never actually heard a Liverpool fans' opinion of him though. If he played for us, I wouldn't be too impressed by him and would have him way down in our midfield pecking order.
