Bebe

and I was like Bebe, Bebe, Bebe, Woahhhhhhh

Wooo Bebe's back, he might get a decent chance under Moyes.

Hope he gets a proper chance... he should get pre season to prove his worth.

Letting jokes aside, what's the point really? Why not sell or loan him again? Chances that he'll ever make here are nil.

What would be the point in loaning him out if he's not going to make it? Better off just selling him. Fwiw I think I'd like to see him play in the first team to see how he does.

If Rooney goes, Bebe will be like a new signing.

In seriousness though, I really want him to succeed at a high level. It would be a great achievement for him, and it feed alot of people a big slab of humble pie. How great would it be if one of those cannonball crosses floated over Joe Hart's head in the last minute of the derby? Phwoar.

Not instead of anyone, I'd just like to see him play.

I'd like to see myself play for United too. Doesn't mean it will or should happen. No room for sentiment in football, especially not for a random player who's showed no talent at all when he has played. I'd much rather give that valuable match time to some of our youngsters who actually have hope to make it at United, or in the Premier league at least. People like Januzaj for example.

Difference being you're not a Manchester United player. There's enough games to go round, don't see the problem with seeing him in a first team game it's not going to kill anyone. He played really well in last seasons pre season tour.

he should be nowhere near our first team, he's terrible. A legend, but barely Championship standard.

Wasn't Bebe pretty good on tour last pre-season?

He played excellently for half an hour that he played in 1 match. At the time he was the best player on the pitch by a long shot.

Had a number of good games for Rio Ave as well, didn't he? Or at least a few. Or one. I dunno, I just saw some Youtube footage of him going on a nice run.

I think he's got potential. Maybe not United level potential, but he'll end up being a good player for a Championship level side. Strong, quick, powerful shot on him. Technique may not be up to scratch, but his physical attributes should get him by.

Bailiffs visit Manchester United training complex in search of Bebe

Debt collectors went to the Premier League champions' Carrington training base looking for the Portuguese attacker, who spent last term on loan at Rio Ave, but could not find him

New Manchester United boss David Moyes has his own headaches with the Wayne Rooney saga - but they are nothing in comparison to those of his Portuguese forward Bebe.

The Premier League champions are well used to receiving visitors to their Carrington training complex, but last weekend was a first.

Bailiffs turned up at the Red Devils' HQ last week demanding to speak with the £7 million flop. United's own security refused to permit the debt collectors entry, who returned an hour later with police officers to search for the 23-year-old.

Goal contacted Greater Manchester Police who confirmed that “shortly before 11am on Saturday 13 July 2013, police were called to a training complex on Isherwood Road, Carrington.

“Officers attended and established the matter was a civil one that is now being dealt with by the relevant parties.”

Bebe had been training that morning but the bailiffs were unable find him.

What on earth has Bebe got himself into here? I wonder if this is for real though (goal.com).

fecking hell

Probably one of the most bizarre signings in Pl history, you couldn't make half of this shit up.

We'll find out in a couple of years that he doesn't actually exist or something

The whole bebe thing from start to finish.

I hope the truth never comes out. Dodgiest transfer ever.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry about the Bebe transfer from start to finish.

Then again, our source here is goal.com? Possibly bullshit and the poor bloke is getting ripped into for no reason...but given the fact it's Bebe I wouldn't rule it out.

Does anyone know what kind of wages Bebe is on?

I don't actually believe the transfer was all that dodgy. United took a punt and it turned out he was awful.

it is line a storyline off that tv show 'dream team'. absolutely ridiculous.

So would I. I'd rather see the likes of Lingard, Januzaj, Powell, the Keane's and Petrucci get games. Bebe is brutal and has no chance of making it as a United player, in my opinion.

Amateurish at best. I've never seen a transfer that made so little sense.

You don't find paying 7 million for a random player from the second division of Portugal that the manager never even saw dodgy at all?
