Mourinho hasn't even signed yet and he is criticized for his bad management of Rashford.

It's not Rashford they should be replacing.
I don't think he's ready to lead the line for a team wanting to win the title but if you think otherwise then fair enough

I'd rather see us sign a Ibrahimovic or Griezmann and let Rashford develop without the pressure of needing to score around 15-20 league goals next year.

Completely agree.

When you put it like that, I see what you mean, and agree.

If he celebrates like this, after a win at Anfield, I demand he is given the freedom of Manchester. He will have the freedom of my heart

Great post

I think he just lost control and made a mistake in the heat of the moment. I can't remember him laying his hands on anyone else in the 14 years he's been around
I think he apologise later on so there's always that, I mean he's not a bad person.

My worries if Jose came here is would be

. Youth players

. He will do anything to win for....... Jose Mourinho which doesn't seem to bad when he's managing your club but the club(United in our case)will always be second and if things aren't going well and he could be close to the sack, Mourinho will do anything to make sure he comes out on top and second United come second.

He will be our new manager. Its not about LvG managing to get a lucky 4th or win the FA cup. He lost the board around christmas time and when Mourinho become a free agent, the deal was made with his party. We need to hope for the champions league spot, because Mourinho actually knows how we can be a real contender.
You're my hero.

And good to know that our board came to their senses around December, it appears they're not as incompetent as we all feared.

The best players develop by playing at the top level. I'd like to see someone brought in to share the burden with him in the near term, but if we want him to reach those heights then he's still going to need to be entrusted with a lot of football, even next season.

Youth involvement is pretty much the only thing that gives me pause with Mourinho. I'd like to think he'd play people on talent alone but I hope the board impress on him that we prioritise long term success by developing young starlets even at the expense of short term glory. I'm fine with a third place next year under Mourinho if the pieces are put in place for a team that can dominate for a decade, as Fergie did pre-2006.

Yeah it's hard to argue with that. I think my point though is that he could have that pressure removed from his shoulders if we signed a talisman to lead our attack and himself and Martial can play alongside him. We've currently got Rooney and Lingard who could be massively upgraded and Rashford and Martial would benefit from playing with better players and have less on their shoulders too.

I think he'll do that against Arsenal or MCFC.
I don't think he has much against LFC or Klopp.

Just to settle my curiousity.....

If Mourinho becomes United manager, does that mean there will be United supporters on here, that actually like a Liverpool manager above a United one?

:wenger:
Sorry it was a stupid question

It's quite clear that is the case right now and I'm fairly certain it would have been the case under Moyes too

So what is the difference if there are also examples when Jose takes over. It's not going to be a new thing

Exactly!

He hates the scouse as much as anyone I've ever come across.

I think competing with Benitez and Liverpool so often in the Champion's League led to Mourinho developing that rivalry with them.

Not saying we should be aiming to compete with them with the advantages we have over them but still, it would be nice to see something approaching passion on the sideline again.

If you want to admit that you like a Liverpool manager more than a United one then, fire ahead.
Me, I hated Moyes since his Everton days but, not in this lifetime would the thought, "You know, I really like Rodgers" enter my head

Nah, Mourinho just hates being beaten by managerial rivals.

I've admitted before I like Klopp and was pretty gutted he went to Liverpool. I would have preferred him to be next rather than Jose

But surely you must know many people think the same?

I am sure many prefer Klopp to lvg and I'm sure many would have preferred Rodgers to Moyes

Your question made it sound like this would be a new occurrence

Been the case most of the season with the fawning over Klopp. Next season would just mean there's a few more who like our manager more than Liverpool's compared to this season.

He seemed to hate Wenger despite never losing to him.

This is how I view it all:

*He dislikes Pep for a few reasons, one of which is his opinion on Guardiola taking the 'easy' route to managerial success.
*He dislikes Rafa for the ghost goal, amongst other things.
*He dislikes Wenger for being given an easy ride by Arsenal's board.

All of the above can be boiled down to José wanting to be viewed as the best manager around.

Oh stories of cnuts good deeds started popping up as counter measures now. Must be said, sellout brigade done some great PR stuff in recent months, well done tbf.It reminds me of political/war propaganda style.

For years you read here negative views and insults towards JM style of play, calling it boring and what not. Now you see almost same those waving with statements like "His style isnt boring,he managed in one season with RM to score 400 goals"(dont know exact number of goals) as some kind of proof how no one here said anything about being boring.

For years you read here how people were disgusted with his parking bus, boing 747,he was mocked, laughed at,called all kinds of names. Now it seems that parking a bus and freaking airplane was just an illusion,it wasnt real at all.

People raised a question about his trusts in youth/young players. You can see in the past how he has 0 trust in youth/young players, hell sometimes he doesnt even trust to reserves, anyone outside those first XI. Once again we didnt need to wait long for brigades counter measure move, they came back with some stats and names from previous clubs as proof, how him not giving chance to youth is bullshit. Mentioning Zouma as prime example ,Zouma wasnt there before him hello,he bought him right?
When that didnt do a trick, they started spinning statements how it doesnt matter for him,as long you earn your spot during trainings and games, linking some interviews of coaches under him. Really?! So guess Ivanovic and Matic and other 7 were in godlike mode during trainings and games since start of this season. I mean its great fun to watch them trying to spin things around.

One of last points,is him being called a cnut, again he was called like that here by most because his actions. For some time nobody released counter measures regarding that but recently you can see attempts to put his cnut level on same scale numbers as SAF`s,yep, out of nowhere he suddenly isnt any bigger or less cnut then Sir Alex.

So there arent more moves left, only remains to post a photoshoped picture of Rui Faria with some puppies and they are done.

Its funny to see that all related to "United way" was used as smashing hammer vs LvG and same doesnt apply when it comes to our future manager.I know that football fans are fickle and clueless as feck but i really hate double standards.

At the end of day those 80.3% will get their wish and guess he will be our new manager. I never gonna change my vote.Think he is a winner, never had anything against his style of play, nor him parking a bus (because i find some type of beauty in defending just like in attacking),not like brigade members. In same time i find him to be a classless cnut, his assistant manager is classless cnut too with being animal as bonus. He has 0 trust in youth and so on.

I understand that brigade wants to win something asap so they dont turn into RAWK members. To have someone classy as SBC in stand watching us play while we have classless cnuts in JM and RAF in dugout...no thanks. If he becomes our next manager, then welcome to United, will be happy and will celebrate any title, win because at the end of day i am United supporter.

Edit:Maybe only way for him to change his ways regarding behave and youth is if people above have a strong talk with him and explain that we are not Chelsea, nor circus like Madrid and in what we believe when it comes to young players etc.

Klopp was the runaway winner of the vote on this place for who we wanted to be our next manager before LVG.

It would be ignorant to pretend otherwise just because he's joined a rival now.

I just don't understand how anyone could like a current Liverpool manager over one of our own is all. Fortunately for me, Klopp is incredibly easy to hate and I took great pleasure in seeing that stupid grin wiped off his face yesterday.

Hi, nice to meet you.

Rumour has it there is video footage of you, first off the bus and leading the charge into the Kop End, singing YAWN at the top of your voice. Heartbreaking scenes

While I agree with the sentiment of this, my head is full of what the feck? I keep reading it like a poem but it doesn't rhyme

I don't think I'll ever find anything more bizarre than United 'fans' who prioritise laughing at the disappointment of people on the internet over the performance of the club.

It's pathetic really. The whole Klopp love-in on here is ridiculous.

By now, Klopp has realised that he'll have to come up with regular miracle victories just to experience the atmosphere he joined Liverpool for.
