UEFA have given OGS credit for the goal...the replay clearly showed OGS shot was well off angle if not for the deflection from the defender (off his chest). Generous gift from UEFA.

But either way, it's 1-0 <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Oh no!!! Gary has a broken bone in his foot. He may be out for the season and possibly the World Cup. At this rate, we'll have half the first team out if we reach the final.

Score should be 3-1 right now. Not seen much of Veron in this first half. Giggs has given away a lot of passes. Still, 1-0 up, I'm happy. Just half a bottle of Bacardi to go.

Bayer are getting too much space, Basturk is getting far too much with those little runs he's making - we never pick him up. It good job they weren't able to finish. Having said that we've had our chances too. This is what semis are all about - team who takes the chances wins. I agree with the Giggs on the left OGS up front move though - all Bayers attacks are starting down their right flank.
