You'd also have to deliberately mis-pronounce his name. Rud Van Nistelrooy was a notorious 17th century Dutch goat herder/molester.
 
We have never had a German player, right? Must be because red, white and black looks a bit dodgy on a Deutsch. Jawoll?!?!

On a more serious note, he had an average game today against Schalke, Schweinsteiger and was even substituted by van Gaal in the 84th minute. Didn't look too pleased with his manager's action. Manuel Neuer, on the other hand, kept Schalke in the match with a string of superb saves today.

Her body isn't anything special as she's a bit too skinny (I was a bit disappointed with the body paint video), but her face is utterly ridiculous. Makes every other WAG look ugly. And I normally much prefer brunettes.

Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger is expected to sign a four-year contract extension that would keep him at the German champions until 2016.

Schweinsteiger, 26, has a contract with Bayern until June 2012, but German daily Bild said the Germany star is now ready to commit a further four years with the Bavarian giants.

Sources close to Schweinsteiger said he could sign the contract before Christmas.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester United are reported to be interested in luring Schweinsteiger away from Munich and Bayern have said they will do everything they can to keep their star.

In the wake of Bayern's 2-0 defeat at Schalke on Saturday night, sporting director Christian Nerlinger refused to confirm Bild's report, but said he is optimistic.

'It doesn't matter when he signs, just as long as he does and I am confident we can convince him,' Nerlinger said on German television.

At Bayern's annual general meeting last week, president Uli Hoeness told Munich's members it is 'incredibly important' that Schweinsteiger stays.

Bayern, who are currently seventh in the league, have already secured the long-term services of defender Philipp Lahm, midfielder Franck Ribery and forward Thomas Mueller, the top scorer at the last World Cup.89

I'm guessing the rumours of him signing at new contract at Bayern is only an agent ploy to get the upper hand in the contract negotiations with us :nervous:
 
He's the best option we could sign at the moment, unless Ronaldo or Messi want to come here.

He will stay at Bayern. And even if he wanted to leave, it will be very hard and almost impossible to sign him before 2012, Bayern playing hardball and we know they do that well.

It depends on Us and Him eventually, Bayern can play hardball but if us and him clicks there's not really much you can do, unless they really hate us and want to spite us and let him sees his contract rolls.

Any sane club would just opt to cash in "IF" the player does wish to go.

I'd say we'd still fork a good amount on him though, mainly due to the fierce competition if we wait till he's on bosman.

But at the time, i doubt he would want to move here, unless we sign Neuer which can be a point of attraction for him.

All and all, certainly a good player to have, I see leadership in him and he's a class act in the DM department, having previously been a winger he does possess flair as well.

Won't cry if he don't come, defo will be happy if he come.

Bayern clearly stated that they will never sell him and rather let his contract run out. And Bayern is a club where you can believe these kind of things. So I wouldnt be surprised if he either stays there until 2012 or signs a new contract
 
I would happily break our transfer record for the Schwein - if there is any small chance of getting him then we should go all out to make it happen.
