Can you imagine the difference in opinion from Liverpool fans if it was them he had signed for?
Can't wait for confirmation. For me this is the signing that can transform this team from plodders to champions

Yes it's quite possible he could get injured a few times but for £14m, you won't find anybody in Europe who could guarantee you the performances he's capable of for at least a couple of years. That's why it's exciting.
Do we know how much he really cost?
I am not following Jamie Carragher on twitter - but seeing as he joked about Schweini being over the hill - has anyone asked him what he would prefer ? :
a) Milner at £150.000 a week
b) 1 year older Schweinsteiger at £145.000 a week - and transfer fee of £14.5 mill
He does a pretty good job at that.He doesnt think he is past it really, he was joking. He said so after a while, he just wanted to get a reaction from United fans.
he has always done a good job United wummingHe does a pretty good job at that.
From some, maybe. Personally I would have been very displeased with it as he's top class.Or the difference in opinion from united fans if they had signed him.
when does medical usually happen?

Any chance if this becoming another Falcao?
Nothing is happening until he's had his medical.Wow, I thought I was in the Bastian Scweinsteiger thread!
Of course, just a medical to sort out and it's done.So this is all but confirmed? So far United, Bayern and Schweini has confirmed the transfer?
