On form Fletcher would be a definite starter. But he's been out for too long. He looks like a skeleton and I wouldn't trust him to do a great job shutting out that midfield. Even subs bench might be too soon for him.

Solid team, but we need to start Hernandez. He's clearly our most dangerous striker in and around the box. He'd be more effective from the start rather than 70 minutes into the game, when we're in need of a goal in my opinion. Statistics may prove me wrong, but a striker of his magnitude must start in the biggest game of the season.

Tonight they asked Puyol about him and he made an interesting comment.....what Barca players have noticed about Hernandez' style is that he plays in such a way that a lot of the time he is almost offside.
If Hernandez starts I wouldn't be surprised to see that every time he makes a run for a through ball he'll be caught offside. That'll be Barca's way of dealing with him if he's in a dangerous position and they'll be good at it.
Better to bring Hernandez on later when they're not as alert. Personally I'd bring on both Owen and Hernandez later. A tiring Barca will struggle to play the offside trap against both of them at once.
