Federer just won 11 games in a row.

I feel sorry for Roddick.

what's mjtv?

Michael Jackson Television

they air juniors and boys matches exclusively, also they are adding a new podcast feature for handy "on-the-go" use

Federer's fecking incredible. Is he really human? The only contrary evidence is the French Open and i'm beginning to think thats some kind of software fault that will be corrected when he's released out of his capsule/module this May.

Seems to be that he can be sloppy when he knows he's going to win anyway and tries different things; but when he takes it seriously he produces performances like yesterday. Amazing.

fecking humiliating defeat for roddick. federer's got to be the best ever.
If he gets this 10th grandslam and a French someday he surely has to be. And theres still so much tennis left in him.

He's 26 and yeah, he's pretty good. His forehand is regarded as the best in the men's game.

Strange how i've never noticed him before. I've heard his name but dont remember him ever impressing me. And i usually watch as much as i can from the grandslams.

Do you guys think that Federer was better than Sampras?

I mean, in Sampras era, he have some good competition from the likes of Agassi. But in Federer case, it seems that he doesn't have a worthy opponents. The only one that I can think of is Nadal. And that's only on the clay court.

Gonzalez has improved massively lately.

But Federer should win comfortably, since Gonzalez's backhand is non-existent.

I predict 3 -1 to Fed.

Generally the concensus among the 'experts' is that he is. I saw sampras a little after his prime so i cant compare directly. But i cant imagine a better tennis player than Federer. Nadal IMO will go down as one of the greats as well. Roddick could have had 5 grandslams or so if Federer wasnt around. It would have been something if Safin would have realised his full potential. But i think overall it has to do more with roger than the competition.

from what i saw and remember of sampras i'd say federer's probably better. federer looks far more at ease pulling off ridiculously difficult shots than any player ever has. but that's all just theoretical, you can't really predict who'd have won between the two.

and this gonazalez  when did he get so good?

Sheesh, Williams 6-1, and now 3-0 with two breaks of serve. Is that Kournikova in disguise?
