Federer's fecking incredible. Is he really human? The only contrary evidence is the French Open and i'm beginning to think thats some kind of software fault that will be corrected when he's released out of his capsule/module this May.

Seems to be that he can be sloppy when he knows he's going to win anyway and tries different things; but when he takes it seriously he produces performances like yesterday. Amazing.

Generally the concensus among the 'experts' is that he is. I saw sampras a little after his prime so i cant compare directly. But i cant imagine a better tennis player than Federer. Nadal IMO will go down as one of the greats as well. Roddick could have had 5 grandslams or so if Federer wasnt around. It would have been something if Safin would have realised his full potential. But i think overall it has to do more with roger than the competition.reelworld said:
