Australian Open

Toss, I'm the king of predictions, but not the king of memory, forgot to update my effort for the quarters. I would have been perfect scoring so far too, backing Federer, Roddick, Sharapova, Clijsters, Vaidisova and Williams to all go through. Then again most people are. Davydenko and Nadal to join them in a shock free quarter final round.

My semi's predictions:

Federer to beat Roddick
Davydenko to beat Nadal

Williams to beat Vaidisova
Clijsters to beat Sharapova
 
Gonzalez will go to the finals, I think.

I expect him to beat Nadal today, definitely.
 
yeah nadal was owned, first time ive seen him lose so convincingly

I think Clijsters will beat Sharapova.
Gonzalez will reach the final as I already mentioned.

I predict Clijsters/ Vaidisova for the final and Federer/Gonzales (fingers firmly crossed for Fed).

In this sort of form, surely Gonzalez is a mighty mighty threat to Federer come the final? I hope it happens, should be an immense final, all I need now is a tele to watch it on...
 
so far i've made my picks by the heart and not the brain. i was really hoping to see hingis win it. this round although i've picked federer, i'm really hoping for an upset. c'mon roddick!!! the guy's ruined your fecking career, payback time!!

The other way round for me. As always hope Federer teaches Roddick a hiding, but i have a feeling theres an upset on the cards here. That isnt my official prediciton just yet btw.
 
I too am worried about Roddick. I can't stand the guy but if he plays a blinder and Fed is a bit off he could upset Roger. This could be Roger's most difficult match including the final.
 
as much as i like federer and think he's one of the best ever, i've started feeling really sorry for roddick. so i'm hoping for an upset today.
