Fed played well but thought there were too many errors really. Lacked the wow factor of yesterdays game for instance

Interesting. Guess I got the wrong impression. I saw that he was seemed to have won the 1st two sets quite comfortably and got about 12 break points in the next sets, and thought he was very good.
Murray was quite poor in those 2 sets. I thought the game would kick on once Murray won the 3rd but that never materialised

Nadal better hope those blisters on his right hand heal fast. It looked really painful and it obviously affected him against Dimitrov. While he doesn't have a stellar serve, he made an uncharacteristic amount of DFs and some shitty forehand errors he never usually makes.
I agree - I think this is Feds best opportunity for a long time - it will be interesting to see if he volleys as much against rafa because murray had no answer for it

I think we can almost crown Nadal as the GOAT now. He's going to overtake Fed and he's beaten Federer so many times, even in his peak. BUT I would want to see a more even spread of Slams on Nadal's CV, needs a few more from here, Wimby & US.
