Australia vs India

I don't think it will go the 5th day.If we can get through tomorrow without losing more than a couple of wickets it would be a tremendous achivement.But sadly I don't see that happening.We have a lead of 170 right now...we need something over 450 if we want to win this with our bowlers.

Hopefully we're not bundled out with a 280 odd lead or thereabouts.

But my call on RP seems to be coming good. I'd like to see Zaheer, RP and Pathan be our pace attack for the next few years. Still not convinced with Ishan.

I'm watching it. I did turn it off but I couldn't stay away. The runs are coming at an alarming rate. 98 in this session so far.
 
I haven't watched much of this test, I did turn on to see Sehwag dismissed and Johnson get cock burn on the boundary rope, but then switched to tennis

And now I go to bed. Damn these Australians hogging all the sport, doesn't fit well into my schedule
 
Runs have dried up in this session.

Doesn't look like India will manage more than 220 this innings. That means Australia will be chasing 330-340. Hope our bowlers are up for it.
 
Not a bad situation to be in. I don't think its going to be as easy as the newspapers tomorrow are going to make out but I think India have done enough to win this one.

Australia are a great team and they're not going to give up their bid for a record 17th easy. But we stopped them before and we can do it again. Doing at Perth will be a great achievement... something to tell the grandchildren.

Did well in the end to to get to 290 odd. Those two wickets certainly put the pressure back on Aussies. They are still very much in the game though.

I wouldn't say very much, 350 in the final innings of a game when you're 2 down already and the highest innings score of the whole game has been 330, I say they have an extremely slim chance if that. India well in control, some good rearguard lower order scoring after I went to bed.

They needed 413 to win, the highest run chase in test history is 417, only 5 times in the history of cricket has anything greater than 360 been chased down

I agree, Symonds's wicket is just as important.Hell all of their middle order's is, more so because some of them have been woefully out of touch.We love making heroes out of opposing players, we do.
