You are more likely to get players for base prize in reinforcements. You're also more likely to land your target due to lesser competition.

Reinforcing doesn't mean getting another top player. It's just upgrading your weakest. So yeah, not being able to afford more top players is how this is designed to work.

So yeah, a balance between having a strong R1 team vs saving money should be attained, else people are likely to end up in R2 with no further way ahead. I don't know how this'll work either. I doubt many will have money left...but let's see. Should be interesting. I'll tweak a bit later if necessary.

Please tweak now as we all need to know, will be unfair to the ones that will have cash later if you change something. Personally i dont care, counting on my mandatory first round exit + im certain i will spend it all now :lol:

Think the point was why would anyone save 100 million for a later round? There is no difference in spending it in initial drafting or later.
Also, the 600 mn kitty makes sure no one would have anything decent left in the kitties. Not even 20-30 based on what I am expecting.

yeah, feel the same. Especially considering how things are going now...
 
The only incentive for managers to save up is to have a small additional fund available during each reinforcement.
50 mn as I suggested earlier gives you a decent pick if you have nothing left, while it gives you a GOAT pick if you managed to save 50mn+ earlier. Which is an actual significant advantage.

Yeah I'd feel rather silly if I saved 100m for reinforcements only to go out in the first round

I'd argue that 20m or 40m would be better because that would require saving at least 10m to get that 50m bracket so makes it more strategic than just 50m

You could sell players back too at a discount. So should not be a problem reaching 50 for anyone.

In Hindsight, I wish I’d thought of this as not being an all time draft. You could pick one 100m player, and ten 50m players and not make it out of the first round.
