Only the bank can buy back at base prize. Nobody can trade below that ever. If you are selling it to another manager it has to be minimum $10m above base prize.

E.g.

Best (200m purchase prize)
- Can sell to bank at 150m (base prize)
- Can sell to another player at 160m or greater depends on how you negotiate.

- Can sell to another player at 160m or greater depends on how you negotiate.

if the player is already bought at base prize, bank will buy back at discount. Check OP for indicative discounts. No trades for less than base prize. You can trade for no profit, no loss, but bank will levy a $10m violation penalty. So

E.g.
Nesta (120m base and purchase prize)
- Can sell to bank at 100m (incurring a 20m discount loss)
- Can sell to another player at 120m (incur a 10m penalty loss to bank). Cannot trade for less than base prize.

This is a bullshit change.
If that means you could get 3 players from the 50 mn bracket, its an awesome deal and a clear advantage at this stage.

Not really. At the start, there was competition with bids being raised. Now its not possible for most unless you sell a top tier player.

Its not even a change, in fact that is probably the one rule.. we all knew about from day 1. Unless you mean Best was listed as 120m and now his base price has become 150m instead.

You can't sell a player to the bank at base price. That was the rule from day one.

Now you can sell them for base price. How is that not a rule change? Or am I missing something?

Right so if you're buying Best for 200m, his discounted base price should be 100m. That is what you are arguing right..

I get what you are saying, but that person has still made a loss of 80m, if they were to be discounted back down to say 120m (base price).

Plus the rules did say, only base price bought players will be sold at discount from base price.

Pele and Cryuff get you 150 mn with a loss of 10/20 million.
How that is not a huge advantage at this point is just ridiculous.

Who else could raise your 50 million bids now? No one.
