If I had to choose between sleeping with Miss Worl
Seems to be a bit of a circus around Houllier since arriving. Conflict with both Carew and Ireland whom seen completely frozen out, and now signing 37 year old Robert Pires until the end of season... Really, this would not shock me if true... With Houllier anything could happen, on the other hand, I am not sure Sir Alex would drop someone in January without any arrivals though?

His shooting is over-rated, he only scores so many because he shoots every time he sees the fecking goal, irrespective of what his team-mates are doing. If Aston Villa want to buy him then I'll carry him to Birmingham myself.

Sell him, bring back Cleverley.

Gibbo out to Villa, then get Cleverly recalled....sounds good to me.

Yeah i think its pretty obvious Sir alex rates Cleverly and to be fair Gibsons had ample chances to impress and baring the odd wonder goal from range he offers very little in general as a midfielder, added to the fact ive overtaken tractors with more mobility.

Just not united quality, Cleverly could be, would like to see him given the chances Gibson has had.

a loan move looks good for him, provided Cleverly returns and Anderson stays fit. Gibson can be a very good player but he needs regular games.

Can we bring back Cleverley or is the loan binding until end of season?

I think Wigan expect him to be recalled, so I think there must be some sort of option to recall him in January.

You're completely wrong about his shooting but hey, you're completely wrong about most stuff.

Personally, I have my doubts about Gibson being good enough for United so Gibson out and Cleverley in wouldn't be the end of the world. Would need Anderson to make a more meaningful contribution though.

I hope it isn't true. I quite like Gibbo and i'm still hopeful he'll make it.

Gibson is now 23. He needs to start playing regularly and soon. He can shoot very well but from what I've seen he offers very little else.

If him leaving means Cleverly gets more game time then I wouldn't be too disappointed. Different kind of midfielders even though they are.

Bringing back Cleverley and loaning Gibson would be a good move for us. Cleverley is a far better all round player than Gibson who only really has a powerful shot.

Ship out Gibson and get Cleverley back in sounds a good shout. I am not a big Gibson fan - he shoots whenever he is in 40 yards of the goal, and to be fair, he has probably been told to do that, but he takes so many shots that inevitably one goes in eventually and he is heralded as having fantastic long shooting.
Regardless, the rest of his game is pretty severely lacking. We do need a midfielder who is willing to have a crack from long range now and then, but not to such an extent that that is ALL they do.

He's a bit too evil for my liking. His bad karma is the real reason we've been conceding late goals, not this concentration malarky.

Just seems slow across the park...but Lampard gets away with it so Gibbo might.

According to the daily mirror Gerard Houllier would like to sign Darron Gibson to Aston Villa. Darron Gibson is not my personal favorite, and I would not be sad if he were to leave, but what price would that be if we are to reduce our squad in January? Could we sign someone in January to replace him?

Transfer news: Gerard Houllier wants to take Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson to Aston Villa either permanently or on loan. - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Hope this is bullshit. Gibson will come good for united, I like him.

You dickheads having a go at him should be ashamed of yourselves. He's a very talented player who needs experience to improve, and it's probably twats like you who groan every time you hear his name on the teamsheet when in OT, one of the most twattish things you can do as a fan.

Thats almost true....hes still not really good enough for United though. Sorry

Shut up.

Players like Gibson are stopping some of the reserves with real talent coming through the ranks. Takes up one space on the bench. He's an average player. For his own sake, he needs to play consistently anyway, it would be good for him.

Considering the amount of professional footballers in the world, I'd say calling him an average player is almost a bit of an insult :) He's just, maybe, not United quality. Kieron Richardson was called shit and worse by most on here, and he's having a decent enough career at Sunderland now (?).

Same with Phil Neville too, I'd say
