Have you made the Location field under someone’s profile clickable? A few times in the last couple of days I have had new tabs open in Safari on the iPad with a google maps location search from accidentally pressing someone’s location when scrolling.
Nothing has changed with that part of profiles. Can’t say I’ve ever encountered that before
Yeah, I've tried it on posters with an entry in the location field, and a new tab with google maps opens up. One guy had Manchester as location and the map was centred on Manchester, another had Exile and a national map opened with various businesses, Exile this and Exile that, highlighted, and other times the map just centred on where I live. Ah ok, yes that’s normal behaviour, so long as somebody puts a valid place name in their location. Otherwise Google Maps probably shows nothing specific.

It’s triggered from the US part, think with the stop after the letter it’s reading it as the end of a sentence so not seeing it as US.

I was surprised that there was no thread paying respects or concern at the news about the new Cardiff striker and his plane going missing.

Say there were 10 pages in a thread, and I were to be currently on the 7th page of it or whatever (haven't 'read' any page beyond that). If I then get to the bottom of page 7, go back to the main forum page(i.e. don't read page 8) and then click back onto the thread, it'll take me to page 9 as the most recent read rather than page 8.
Any ideas why?

XenForo doesn't track exactly what page you last read in a thread and take you back there on subsequent visits, just the time that you last viewed the thread. So when you revisit a thread it looks at your last read time for that thread and takes you to new posts made since then. If there are no new posts, it takes you to the first page.

"u" and "ofc" are text speak. Don't know how you can argue that they're not. The US gets caught up in it due to the regex to try and catch the text speak not being great so when there's a full stop followed by another letter it just assumes that it has "u" at the end of a sentence.

Can you guys make it mandatory to reference exactly what posts one has picked up dislikes/warning points for when being banned by staff?
I've had 4 warning points from the same mod in the past few weeks for "Quality Control" - having gotten none in the previous 5 years - never being told exactly what for which hardly seems constructive.
