Along these lines, I've always wondered if the Caf has ever had a famous regular, maybe a former player or someone like that. What famous/verified folk follow the redcafe twitter?
I think @GailSpaceWynand should tell you who they asked..
Actress with approx 700k followers, US journalist with 900k followers, chief football writer of the Telegraph (350k followers), some Spanish meme account with over 200k followers and a professional footballer with 100k followers.
Irvine Welsh never followed us but he was great for us during the Ashley Cole incident at Roma.
Good point. Ban the laughing smilie I say, it's almost exclusively used by half-wits. Or allow each poster one a year say, that would do it.Why is typing ‘lol’ not allowed but posting is? It’s the same thing.

Death to text speak.
Next question.
Have you made the Location field under someone’s profile clickable? A few times in the last couple of days I have had new tabs open in Safari on the iPad with a google maps location search from accidentally pressing someone’s location when scrolling.
Yeah, I've tried it on posters with an entry in the location field, and a new tab with google maps opens up. One guy had Manchester as location and the map was centred on Manchester, another had Exile and a national map opened with various businesses, Exile this and Exile that, highlighted, and other times the map just centred on where I live. A case of who cares? for me at any rate.Nothing has changed with that part of profiles. Can’t say I’ve ever encountered that before

You ask a question and then complain at the answer.
Yup, tagline adds up.
You edited the answer in later feckboi
Done. If you want it renamed just reply here.Hi,
I created a new thread in the football forum but it's probably better suited for the Manchester Utd Forum. Is it possible to move it? I think I named it
Rio Q and A good insight to Man Utd.
Originally I uploaded a Q and A with Rio but I've since added ones from RVN and VDS.
Cheers.

Have you got @roonster09 on ignore? What might be the reason I cant see a thread in the football forum?
I was surprised that there was no thread paying respects or concern at the news about the new Cardiff striker and his plane going missing.
Was about to post one with a link to the story and I did a quick search just to check and there is a full thread with activity up to a few minutes ago.
Still nothing showing up on the front page or the football forum when I look though?
Is there a way to find the caf account of the idiot plagiarising posts from here and posting on twitter?
I've irrational hatred for people who plagiarise other people's work etc.

Because you've been plagiarising posts under the pseudonym 'JamesStretford' on Twitter. We know it's you James. Why have I been banned from the Man Utd forum when I barely post in there?
Say there were 10 pages in a thread, and I were to be currently on the 7th page of it or whatever (haven't 'read' any page beyond that). If I then get to the bottom of page 7, go back to the main forum page(i.e. don't read page 8) and then click back onto the thread, it'll take me to page 9 as the most recent read rather than page 8.
Any ideas why?
Edit: Only seems to happen on Firefox on my Android. Perhaps quite a niche problem, but curious how it could happen.
"u" and "ofc" are text speak. Don't know how you can argue that they're not. The US gets caught up in it due to the regex to try and catch the text speak not being great so when there's a full stop followed by another letter it just assumes that it has "u" at the end of a sentence. Why us UdotS being censored. Even when I quote articles it doesn't allow me to post without removing the dot and making it US
Can we eliminate this and o f c notices as these are not really text speak and used more widely.
Why do posts posted simultaneously get the same post number? Tiber's post should have been #961 and be on top of the next page.
Interesting. Never noticed that before.
A quick google suggest it's a race condition that's rarely producable.Likewise. Odd
