To be honest all I'm thinking about from an England perspective is them not losing. They have no chance of winning this test.
I could just as easily say take away Clarke's score and you'd be utterly fecked, that sort of logic does you no good at all.
The way ghaliboy has gone on in this thread is as if he expected to bowl us for 150 or something your in by far the best position to win the game.
It really depresses me listening to the difference between Shane Warne's aggressiveness and the passive defensive nature of all the former England captains.

I'd have opened with Watto and Warner I bet Warner gets out early anyway.
Yeah you may as well have done, you only need 150 runs, if that.
200 in ~45-50 overs would be perfect. That weather looks ominous though.
It does. If Australia are seriously trying to stay in this series then they shouldn't be batting for 50 overs.200 in ~45-50 overs would be perfect. That weather looks ominous though.
He played till u-16 or something, what kind of idiots sit in the crowd to have a go at teenagers?Fascinating interview again with Nev. Said how cricket being a sport where you can hear every voice in the crowd having a go at him helped to toughen him up for his football career in dealing with the crowd.
Agree. I'm convinced that was out but there was far too much complaining there.England should play on with the game instead of complaining to the umpire.
That looked like a clear white mark on hotspot to me
Unless Australia suddenly up the rate, I don't see them winning this. They seem more concerned with the thought of losing 5-0 than they are with getting back in to the series.
I do. The difference between 6 or 7 is little. The difference between 2-0 and 2-1, with 2 to play, is huge. That's the problem when you've lost 6 tests in a row and I can't say I blame them too much
