Personally that's put more doubts on it for me. If it was really happening he could have said something like 'we'll have to see' or something along those lines.

Eh, you never know. Transfer season is just too crazy for me.

At which point in the clip is that? Seems he's half laughing it off
This is exactly how it is worded, Reporter "are you staying at Juve?" Vidal "yes yes i am staying." Reporter "you're not going to Manchester is this true?" Vidal "no no" then precedes to laugh.

Make of it what you want, in my opinion it doesn't sound like he is going to United.

Ah ok, thanks for that mate.

I don't speak Italian but are people seriously getting their knickers in a twist over that? He's giggling nervously like a little girl. That, "no, ha ha", could well just be nervously brushing the journo off like, "I'm not getting into that".

Since when did footballers ever confirm moves to random journalists bugging them while they're trying to get home after a long flight?

Of course he isn't going to confirm anything.

No sh*t Sherlock! ;)

I am looking at it in a optimistic manner.

He is not really giving a firm answer. He's just trying ot get away with it. Obviously he isn't going to announce on the Airport that he is moving to United.

The video, in case you haven't seen.

Cheers I was struggling to find it!

Whether he comes or not that doesn't sound like a no chance more of a haha you can't ask me that I need to speak to my manager etc.

He was not going to say yes on live tv and shit on all the fans getting his autograph.

I'm still sceptical but we'll find out next week for sure I guess.

I don't think he's coming anyway but from looking at that video it certainly doesn't rule it out. He clearly just wants the reporter to go away.

Another observation, look at how he reacts to other normal questions firmly. Like " Have you met Allegri?" or other two obvious questions.

But when it comes to the Manchester question or even the stying at Juve one, he starts giggling.

I don't even know Italian, but I have watched that video about 15 times ow and thats what I make of it.

Well i did say make of it what you want, yes you can twist it and make it out to be he is interested in a move to Man United but from the context i seen it from it looked like he was brushing the rumours off.

Disappointed. I expected him to leave the plane and scream: "I am going to Manchester, bitch!" :(

I see the positive. If he would stay he would probably take his time and not try to avoid the questions the way he did

Yeah but any player logically would just brush off any speculation like he did even if he was leaving. I mean he has just landed in Turin and is amongst the Juve fans.

At least he's back from his holiday. Hopefully this can start to move forward now and we'll know one way or the other soon enough.

By the way, just me or was he on holiday forever?

Look thats the context that i made from it any way, you guys are free to speculate more and believe he is going to Man United. Maybe you guys are right and he is playing it cool or what ever all i'm saying is thats what i understood from it any way.

Relax, you are right most likely.

I take it you're Italian then mate? Who do you support out of interest?

I have seen the video and the reporter ask "are you going to manchester?" Vidal says "no no."

http://www.vecchiasignora.com/topic...-parlo-con-il-mister-vado-a-manchester-no-no/
What context is the question in? For example, was he asked if he's flying to Manchester when his vacation is over? I could see a reporter asking that, trying to get a scoop, trying to find out if Vidal would be flying to Manchester instead of Turin. Also, in other interviews, the questions and Vidal's answers have always said "United" or "Manchester United", so that's what made me think that the question was about the city.

I don't mean to be grasping at straws, just saying that context is everything.

Edit: Just saw other posts and realize now it was after he landed in Italy. Still doesn't mean much one way or the other. Could mean something or nothing by the sounds of it.
Only God knows.

Of course he said he's not going to Manchester, he isn't, the deal isn't complete yet, or at least officially complete.

He didn't say that. He doesn't know anything more from the last time. It's basically the exact same situation as before, until he returns and meets the manager, he doesn't know if he's going or not. From what I can tell, he doesn't deny going to Utd, he just seems to say "no", "no" to suggest that he doesn't know anything more. Personally, I don't think these quotes mean anything.

I support Juventus, I am Italian but i'm born in Ireland and lived here all my life. I dont speak full italian or anything but i could make it out quite clearly what they were saying.

He says no no as if he's trying to get the guy to piss off. Thats the context I took from it.

He again said just nothing, he stays neutral and you can't expect anything on an airport anyway. We will get news on monday, at the moment it's still could happen or not.

So far we have only had like 20 different versions of the exact quote and 25 different contexts of that quote.

judging from this video it's definitely on!
 It's gone from the interview meaning it's definitely off, to non Italian speakers (I assume?!) concluding that it's definitely on from an entirely Italian speaking video

Like i said before it can be seen both ways really, to me any way it is more clearer he is staying as from previous quotes he never said yes or no when he was on holiday and asked about Manchester.

I could be completely wrong and he might be off by next week etc i'm just saying thats the context that i understood from it any way.
