Arturo Vidal

Aye, got Real Madrid written all over him, we can just wait for their next summer cast offs, Modric, Bale, Ronaldo?! You just never know with them.
Falcao also had Madrid written all over him but you know ;)

He's been fine in the first half, even rode 3 heavy tackles. Looks a bit rusty on the ball as expected but movement-wise he seems normal.

Played the 90 minutes, his mobility seemed fine when receiving possession and his workrate was there, passing hit and miss and shooting was off the boil.

In my *expert medical opinion he looks on the road to full recovery.

*May not actually be an expert medical opinion.

There's other options in his position for us out there to buy in January or next summer.

An article by the express stating he has injured his knee prompted Pexbo's return but then he played for Chile?

I don't think sources like the express are that reliable.

It could also be that Louis van Gaal opted for Angel di Maria instead as his central midfielder because of the versatility he provides should we move to a 4-3-3.

Who knows.

We will find out in the coming weeks what his plans are for Angel di Maria but if he wants to stick with 3-5-2 or move to 4-4-2 diamond then he really only needed one central midfielder if he has Herrera already.

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has allayed fears over his fitness after playing 90 minutes for Chile against Mexico.

Vidal went into the international friendly with Mexico with doubts surrounding his fitness after appearing to break down in training with a knee problem.

However, Vidal played the full game against Mexico and insists his knee is fine as he prepares to return to domestic duty.

“You can relax, my knee is back to 100 per cent,” said Vidal.

“Now I am ready for the flight to Turin and in this game I proved that I can play in every Juventus match this season.

“I feel in great shape. We have a series of big games coming up: Udinese, then the Champions League and after that Milan.

“They will all be tough, I will have to be 100 per cent, but tonight I proved that I can play a full match without problems.”

Please let Pexbo stay in any event. He's a good poster and would be a shame to loose a world class muppet.

Juventus confirm Vidal injury

Juventus medics confirmed Arturo Vidal returned from Chile with a right thigh problem.
The midfielder had denied a relapse of his knee injury last week while on international duty.
However, this evening Juve released a statement confirming he returned from South America with a problem at the back of his right thigh.
Vidal was rested and will tomorrow undergo tests to evaluate when he’ll be available to play.
It is a concern for the Bianconeri, who face Udinese this weekend and then go into the Champions League.

I give him 24hrs before he comes out and says it's nothing

This may give Juventus the reason they need with the fans for selling him out.

Or maybe Vidal isn't happy with Juve and his behaviour is the result of that

Bullet I don't know, when we have Fellaini playing, we have the bullet

He wanted out of Juventus, maybe this is his way of getting it? All he had to do all summer was say he was staying but he didn't until we pulled out of it.

How has he been after his knee injury? has he missed any games? I'd still love him here but only if the price was right.

He didn't play many games since the begining of the season, he had a set back early on September, came back, but he only plays once a week. He didn't started against Roma , and now that Pirlo is back from injury he's facing competition from an excellent Marchisio...

Or.. I dont know.. Maybe he just went out, got a few drinks and it all went a bit too far..

How is he doing so far this season?

Vidal was sluggish, but became better as the game progressed is my view of it. Marchisio ran the show in midfield.

Marchisio is the one we should be looking at. He just keeps getting better.

Only watched him last night, good performance sprinkled with a few flashes of true class. A highlight from him was a beautifully hit ball into the box to set Marchisio, who made a great run, free with the keeper but couldn't finish it properly. To get any of him, Marchisio or Pogba would be a dream IMO.

Always liked Marchisio but don't know if he would leave Juventus/Italy, like English players top Italian players like to stay in Serie A.

We should try for Vidal again, LVG rates him and looks like his knees are OK.

All the signs in the summer were that he was happy to stay, but kept his eyes open to the possibility of a huge money move. I can't see how this translates into 'wanting out', unless you are guessing of course.
