Sorry to state the obvious, but with the number of injuries it is obvious that our training regime is not in line with our fitness training, and it is up to manager, not doctors.

Someone should have given a phone call to get Eva Carneiro on board. I don't believe that she can be blacklisted out of football because she fell out with Mourinho, especially not when the team fitness record under her tenure as first-team doctor speaks for itself under 4 different managers at Chelsea (Andre Villas-Boas, Roberto Di Matteo, Rafael Benitez and Jose Mourinho).

Since 2010, there has been a huge problem with the amount of injuries we get. And it's usually defenders too. It just feels like we get far more in key areas than other teams.
The annual defensive crisis has happened almost every season since at least 06/07 (where it very likely cost us a CL title). There was one year we had Smalling and Blind available almost all season, then I think two seasons with Maguire and Lindelof (even then the latter was playing through a back injury). Otherwise every single season we've had a period of a month or so where our defence is just broken and we end up with players out of position or way down the pecking order having to play.
Was curious, a quick search tells me she was in a dedicated sports clinic in Qatar back in 2022 seemingly involved with the World Cup.

Doubt it, it's a recruitment issue, none of these players leave us and have less injured spells. We just clearly aren't or weren't doing enough to vet these guys injury histories.
