Arsenal - 2024/25

The lesser of two evils?

If this injury crisis of theirs persists and also their general lethargy, they aren’t winning feck all.

No, they need Marcus Rashford to rejuvenate them. 60 million and he’s all yours Arsenal.
Arteta's style is really testing the limits of my football tribalism.

At least Liverpool would actually deserve it.

Agree about Rashford. He would solve all of their problems.

If Jesus has seriously injured himself and is out for a good few weeks, then their attack is as blunt as ours. Arteta has blown so much on defence and midfield that they forgot the attack. Was Calafiori really needed or could they have used that money for a striker?

I dont watch them much but theyre shit. Playing for set pieces like a Sam Allardyce team. Now all their players are injured, congrats on the title Liverpool

Absolutely rubbish football, throwing themselves to the ground constantly in a desperate hope to get a chance to lump a free kick in.

Have to laugh imagining Wenger watching his club become Stoke on steroids.

Said this in the match thread but their foul-baiting is 100% deliberate and directed by Arteta.

They bait the foul, wait for the contact, the minute they feel even the tiniest bit of contact they fall down and force the ref to make a decision. That then resets the play and allows them to reset, and set up a new phase of possession under more control.

I can't remember a more unlikeable team or unwatchable tactical philosophy but that's exactly what they've become.

It was a poor choice, especially seeing how injury riddled our attack has been....and the ones who are left are horribly out of form. But Arteta needs to take the blame here. It has been lethargic all season long. Get back to playing decent football. This isn't it.

Perfectly written

I'm an arsenal fan but I agree with this. Saka is the master of this. He's basically like when everyone hated james harden for how he jump into defenders' arms to get to the free throw line

Cheating, diving set of scum bags. With a manager that’s always out of his touchline and gets away with it. Cries about any decision against them. Any loss is never down to them but something obscure.

And Arsenal fans seem blind as to why everyone thinks Arteta is a monumental wanker.

The thing is you can could them credit for this and say that they're cleverly exploiting the failure by refs to enforce the rules properly, but the problem is that it's all they have.

It's like they've become so fixated on eking out the extra 1% of difference that they're completely forgotten how to actually play decent football. I don't think Arteta's sides have ever played good stuff, but they've become a parody of themselves.

Dived, cheated, penalty, played with 12 against 10. Still lost.

Absolutely pathetic, disgusting, slimy, spineless, disgraceful, embarrassing, cowardly little club coached by a miserable, whiny little bitch. You can ban me if you want, but this match really, really, really got to me. Holy shit, I fecking hate Arsenal.

cnut of a team with a cnut of a manager, deserved

the caf always question why people question the hate of Arsenal over City sometimes, you see why (plus a lot of family support the cnuts)
