Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

I've fully caught up on Suits and flown through all of Franklin & Bash. Any other slick, not quite so serious (though Suits is fairly serious) lawyer shows worth watching?

If you've got Netflix, there's a few good ones on there "Hell on Wheels", "Longmire" are two very good ones.

Good Wife?

My misses watches it, but from what I've seen it seems like it could be pretty decent.

I need a new show to watch.

Just blitz watched all of Person of Interest to date. Seen Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Fargo, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, Rectify and a lot of others which I can't remember.
Arrow
Mad Men
Boardwalk Empire
True Detective
Homeland
Fringe
And if you want something to binge watch, Dexter (although a few of the seasons aren't great)

Tell me you haven't seen them all.

Is this any good? Have you tried True Detective?

Is Arrow really good? I've never taken it seriously; probably because all the pictures I've seen always look ridiculous and it's on a network I've never heard of. Is it up there with the best or is it more procedural fun that's not meant to be taken seriously?

I watched through the first 7 or 8 episodes. I enjoyed it while I watched it but I never felt compelled to carry on. Its very lightweight, at least those episodes were. But it was fun & had some pretty good action/stunts, which is all its there for.

Sometimes its nice to watch something where you're not committing to watching another 5 seasons before you get it out of your system.

Arrow first season was not that great but the second one really picks up pace.

Mad Men I watched for a season and a bit but never got into it. Felt like a glorified soap to me.
Boardwalk I have seen/watch.
True Detective seen.
Homeland seen.
Fringe I haven't to be honest.
Dexter I've seen, wish I stopped at season 4.

I think it's great. It is slow moving, but the writing and acting is ace. Well worth a watch. All available on Canadian Netflix (including season 2 which just finished)

Finished Season 1 of Community. Pierce is a fecking brilliant character!

I've been watching Jim Jeffries' sitcom "Legit"...it's fairly good if you like that Always Sunny style humour. Pilot's a bit ropey but it gets better.

virus:

Last Ship (average)

Seems it's likely to not be getting renewed, no final decision yet but rumours are it's a goner.

feck... can't say im gonna miss it, but damm i hate when they cut tv shows before a proper ending... even if they are average tv shows.
Well, they've got 2 episodes left and it was always supposed to be a limited show. Loads of stuff I've liked in the last couple of years got chopped, SGU and the V reboot for example.

The Strain started out well, but my word it went to shit fast. I watched the first two episodes and thought this is going to be brilliant. After a while you'll notice the bad acting, some bits of obvious bad directing/writing etc. It's almost like The Walking Dead where persons had so many questions about the logic of it and how much of it didn't really make sense, yet it's one of the most popular shows on TV. I'll continue watching it, but at this rate I can't see it going beyond 2 seasons.

Just started Penny Dreadful last night, mostly for Eva Green. I expected her to play an antagonist again, like a witch, but was pleasantly surprised that she seemed to be on the good side.. at least for now. Only watched the pilot so who knows. Seems decent so far. The costumes are really nice.

I've tried my best with The West Wing but after 11 episodes I just can't put up with it anymore. That Christmas episode brought pro USA shmaltz to a new level. Despite having it's good moments I find the show almost nauseating.

Just finished True Detective. Wow.

I'm saving that show, along with Sopranos/House of Cards

Shows I've watched but ended up stopping because i found them boring:-

Supernatural - About 10 shows in
Sons of Anarchy - About 4 episodes, everyone always goes on about it but just couldn't get into it at all.
Dexter - 3 seasons and gave up, boring.
Falling Skies - Season 2 episode 2
===

Shows currently watching:-

Person of Interest, really enjoying that at the minute

Shows completed or up to date with:-

Fringe
Walking Dead
American Horror Story
Prison Break
Spartacus
Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Lost
Rome
Boardwalk Empire
Vikings
Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles
Homeland

Would recommend any of those on my completed/up to date list.

Surprised you consider SAMCRO boring. Its like the Sopranos on motor bikes!

Forgot about another one - In the Flesh, would recommend that for those that have not seen it.

British zombie tv show, obviously low budget to Walking Dead, but enjoyed just as much - Hope they make a season 3.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Legends yesterday, seems ok (and for a bonus it has Ali Larter for letching at). Just grabbed another 5 episodes to watch.

Does anyone know when series 6 of sons of anarchy is scheduled for netflix uk?
Also Whitechapel is excellent.

Watched the first handful of episodes of The Blacklist after seeing an advert on Sky.

Enjoying it so far, Spader is brilliant. Some of the special effects are a bit lame though, the train crash in I think the second episode was awful
