Any Training pics of the new lads?

Thorpe, Mcnair and Pereira.
Identity.

Identity everywhere.

Practicing lifting trophies seems a bit premature at this stage.

Blackett,Pereira and Pearson (looks like him) were also featured in the training session.

I'm glad carrick is back, we need his experience and his ability to control a game.

He may be back but is he ready to start on sunday.

Good to see so many youth players training with the first team

Fantastic news!

Hoping him & Blind in midfield don't lack too much pace against Everton though

It would, but you would be okay with Di Maria ahead of them and with Jones and Rojo behind them, plus Rafael and Shaw. All quite fast.

What would be helpful is they are both psoitionally sound, cut off attack lanes wel, and "usually" very good on the ball. Seems like Blind and Carrick have that one extremley bad pass per game thing in common.

Going off these pics and LVG saying now 8 are injured one of Carrick or Wilson must be fit. The other one being Fellaini.

Interesting so many U21 players training with the first team.

Wilson played 45 mins for the U21s on Monday. Carrick's last competitive match was over 4 months ago. I imagine Carrick will either feature for the U21s or play a behind closed doors friendly game before playing for the first team. According to the Guardian on Wednesday evening, Jones had been doing light training with Carrick this week, away from the main group, so at best (assuming the Guardian's info is accurate) Carrick rejoined the main group on thursday, when the pics were taken.

In the past, some players have been photographed taking part in the warm-up but in reality didn't participate in the main training session.

I'm happy to see Jones, Carrick and Smalling. As well as Pereira and Wilson.
