Any Training pics of the new lads?

Lingard and Rafael back is nice.

Rothwell along with Pereira there too.

Cannot spot Afroman tho ?

Nice to see Rafael in the pics, hope he starts as while Valencia has done fine defensively Rafa adds an extra dimension to our attacking play.

Neck injury according to one of those freelance injury specialists who write for various websites. Just prior to Stoke scoring, Fellaini did appear to sustain a strange neck injury while losing possession.

Yes, I'm surprised Pearson hasn't been training with the first yet, he's done well every time he's played with the U21. As for Rothwell, other then the 2 goals he scored, he hasn't been that good.

I disagree, I think both've been equally impressive, both recently and over the past couple of seasons. I'd like to see Pearson there too, but what's most important is that lots of the talented youngsters are there. Once a route into the first team is established, it becomes easier for others to follow it.

That first team training session included Blackett, Pereira, Lingard, Wilson, Januzaj and Rothwell. Good signs.

That's all good mate, I personally rate Pearson highly and that's why I'd rather see him training with the first team sooner rather than later, which would mean that there would be a good chance that he gets a new contract and has a future at the club. The longer he's away from the first team it may mean that LVG doesnt have plans for him and that disappoints me.

I'm not worried. Like you I rate him very very highly, and I trust LVG's judgement about young players. He must be hearing a lot of good things about Pearson from Joyce and the other staff. He'll get his chance. He's even more likely to get his chance if other gifted youngsters like Pereira and Rothwell impress when they get theirs.

Maybe they just didn't take a picture of Di Maria? There's no Rojo in these pictures either, doesn't mean he's injured!

/optimism :(

We don't want to give away team news midweek. Bare in mind it's the official Twitter account, there's a good chance someone told the photographer not to include Di Maria...

I found another, doesn't look gray in this one.
Also, it seems like he's #28 now, not just because of the number on his pants, I know they often use pants with random numbers on them, but the squad list on the home page says so too.

People should not be too heart broken if Di Maria is not playing yet. When we have RvP who's so on form and Rooney, we will score goals. My prediction is 3-1 with RvP to score again! I was right at the S'Hampton game and I will be right again :)

If van Gaal can turn Ando's career around, we should give him a job for life.. #believe
