Any Training pics of the new lads?

Holy moly, just looking through those training pics really shows you the talent in the squad. It's absolutely ridiculous! Hopefully we tick sooner rather than later cos boy oh boy will it be fun to watch. :drool:

We have a lot better quality squad than people are giving us credit for, when they are all fit.

He's so disgruntled, his eyebrows have muscles.

:lol::lol::lol:

Probably.

Look at the difference from when he was at Wigan with Wilson Palacios and Figueroa:

to then joining up with Darron Gibson and John O'Shea:

I miss that Antonio. Quick somebody piss him off again.

Those training tops look pretty mint tbh.

Indeed. And thats only one window into the LVG rebuild.

Thats why I get annoyed with the people who are already on LVG's back. People moaning about the style of football, well its going to be very hard to get any fluid football going when the team is different every week. To be 3rd, and to have played some very good football in spells, with all these constant injuries is something we should be very pleased with. If we'd had a fit squad all season, we'd quite likely be right up there with Chelsea/City.

Absolutely, we've drawn too many games so far, 2 or 3 of those converted to wins and we'd be right in the mix.

Interesting to see Reece James back training with the first team, I wonder if LvG might use him in midfield against Preston.

Looks like no Thorpe.. Wonder what he has to do to convince LvG to give him a chance

Surely it is just the players who weren't involved against Burnley. Some of them will play on Monday, but not that many.

:lol::lol:

I was about to remind you about James' position and then I remembered LvG is our coach
Yeah he plays in the holding role for the reserves regular enough. Personally I prefer him there to LB.

It'd be great if Reece got to appear in this match too seeing as he came from Preston.

Lol, Shaw didn't think this one through. Shaw is one of the few with a snood - so he's obviously feeling pretty nippy. So wonder why he went for shorts...

Very small group of players, Wilson the only one there who featured against Burnley. Good sign for Andreas and Reece James that they are included. Hopefully see the 2 in the squad for Preston.

LvG wouldn't throw Thorpe in the deep vs Arsenal surely?! Is he left footed?
