Seriously, I would sub someone for not laying it off when 3 of your team mates can walk it in.
Not just that, the technique he tried was terrible

It wasn't just confidence though was it? Adnan kept running at players, still had his technical ability, and still had the same pace. What changed was how defenders played him. He kept playing the same way, as opposed to using more of his attacking midfield quality, and when the same thing wasn't working, his performances dropped. Nothing to do with confidence. In fact, he was too confident in his dribbling ability.
You know what, you're right that the 2nd season syndrome isn't a thing, but scouting reports being better as the player becomes a more known quantity is absolutely a thing. It's up to the player to adapt/readjust, which does happen regularly by the best players.
Is the last 16 deep in the CL?Let’s not pretend the keeper & left back didn’t knoe full well what Antony was gonna do. Not sure how a scouting report next season gives them any more insight than what they had tonight. Antony has been deep in the CL with Ajax and is a Brazilian international.
If any player scores that high quality a goal once every 10 games, fans should consider themselves luckyGood goal. We'll see it once every ten games if we are lucky
If he contributed usefully in between, yes. If it's nine games of safe sideways passing, stopping counters, wayward crosses, poor decision making, selfish play and conceding possession before that goal, it doesn't quite add up.If any player scores that high quality a goal once every 10 games, fans should consider themselves lucky
Good thing he played very well yesterday thenIf he contributed usefully in between, yes. If it's nine games of safe sideways passing, stopping counters, wayward crosses, poor decision making, selfish play and conceding possession before that goal, it doesn't quite add up.
He was a lot better yesterday than normally. Much more threatening. Still cost us a certain goal through exceptionally selfish play.Good thing he played very well yesterday then
Lets not go overboard. What he did was unacceptable and I can see why some are calling from Pellistri to take his place in the next game.
If he had a right foot he could I think he’s passing it
Scored a goal just 2 weeks ago against Barca.Good goal. We'll see it once every ten games if we are lucky
Averaging around a goal every three games, I'd say that's a pretty decent return for an out and out winger. Not many goals
Great goal, pretty wasteful performance otherwise
Our whole team needs to cut that out. Bruno and Rashford most often. Fred does it too. But otherwise he did really well.He was a lot better yesterday than normally. Much more threatening. Still cost us a certain goal through exceptionally selfish play.

He had a decent to good game, scored an important worldie that put us back in front, and is our 3rd highest goalscorer of the season. Yes, huge brainfart not squaring it for a tap in. But there's enough to be positive and hopeful about that people should try to withhold lots of the negativity they are spewing about him.
People get so obsessed with taking any opportunity to shit on players they've decided they don't like and/or don't rate. Within 5 minutes of being on the pitch, someone was shitting on McTominay. It's like, Jesus Christ we get it already. Boring cnut.
What I don't understand is this: When he switched to the left he put some beautiful and dangerous crosses in the box. But when he plays on the right and he cuts inside (still on his left) his crosses are always terribly shit, either aiming for no one or hitting the first defender. How is it possible?
Some it's the difference between inswinging and outswinging, but his inswinging shots from the right are always very well placed. I don't get t. It must be a mental thing.
