Rest him then. Don't feck about with this knock.

If Nani is still injured I really don't know how to replace him. Young? Welbeck? Rooney?

Smalling or Jones at RB and shifting Rafael as a forward?

He could play against Cluj I think.

Cheers. It's a bit promising when you think we're having a very good season so far in terms of attacking play, being without two of our most potent players in recent season (Nani and Valencia) and newly brought attacking gem in Kagawa.

If we can use them all properly, alongside Rooney and RvP (not to mention our rescue man in Hernandez and Welbeck), we may well become ridiculously good to watch.

Yeah, it's really shame we are missing so many good attacking options at the moment, eventough we are still doing really well in attack.

One of favourite Valencia moments. Destroyed the two of them with pace and left them in a heap before winning the penalty.

Hope he gets back to his old self soon.

He said on his instagram that he's been playing with an injury all season. Will certainly explain his unwillingness to take on players.

Would be great if he could come back fit against city, if we can get at them anywhere it's outwide.

:wenger:

What is it about us and playing injured players?

What is it about us and playing injured players?

Players often lie about the extent of their injuries so they get to play. I highly doubt that we would purposely play players who we know are likely to get injured due to an existing complaint.

Incidentally, does anyone have the simple Premier League injury chart, by total players out expressed in a 'weeks' total?

Safe to say the situation wasn't exactly handled well. We had to put up with terribly poor performances from him almost every week just because he decided not to tell us about his injury and none of our staff were able to identify it. We had a fully fit Nani on the bench for a few of these games. Hope we've made sure he won't do this again.

Even Fergie said that last month. He had a hip injury and has been playing with it since quite some while. I don't know when he would be back, but lets hope he is back soon and returns to form at the earliest.

And, is Instagram the new Twitter? :wenger:

just seen this on twitter

He has been shown up by a few defenders who have his two moves figured out.

Well he had his good moments and bad. Unfortunately he was very wasteful in a couple of great positions.

Yeah, clearly rushed back and faded badly in the second half, picked up a knock but 'shit' is a way too harsh word choice to summarize his performance.

Honestly I just don't remember any meaningful contributions to our attacks or chance from him. He was really poor.

It's not his fault, he was already out of form prior to the injury, so when he's rushed back when he still looks half injured then it's only going to get worse, not better.

I love Valencia but he was really quite ineffective for the most part today. They completely shut down his right foot.

Did a couple of good things. Considering how much possession he had though, we was on average a bit shit. You'd expect a top winger who had as much time as space as he did at times today to do a lot better. Really hope he finds form soon...

Seems like he's lost his dynamism and/or pace.

Very predictable nowadays, walks it up to the edge of the box, stops, and engages to stare at the fullback for a good 10 seconds before deciding to pass it back to rafael, or putting in a mediocre cross.

I didn't mind his stationary moments today too much as they were wasting valuable seconds when we were holding on.
