It's obvious what is going to happen. He announces he's signing for United and immediately gets injured in the opening match of the tournament.
He hasn't flirted with other clubs for 2 or 3 years though, journalists have tried to create news around him at every opportunity because it sales, he has been continuously asked direct questions about a move away from Atletico and he has always stated that he was happy at Madrid and didn't want to move yet. Something that people also missed is that he reportedly had a problem with his former advisor who wanted him to sign for United and was always talking about it on french media, Griezmann fired him.
The problem is that people don't listen to him, they listen to journalists, his brother, ITKs and then assume that it comes from him. Funnily enough Simeone had to answer the same type of question in December about Griezmann and his answer was "Of course Griezmann could leave one day".
Did he change advisor? Was that the same one when Griezmann said the infamous "6/10" comment?

He can't confirm anything until he's signed the contract with whichever club he's going to be at. If they are still discussing the contract, he can't come out in the conference and oh yeah, I'm joining Barca/Utd/staying at Atletico.
