That's pretty good. He started to play very young for Real Sociedad where he didn't play as a forward. Isolate his Atletico stats and you're closer to what the current player is like.

So... I don't really follow him so I don't know much. Is he REALLY good or highlights player similar to Pogba who contributes pretty much nothing but has moments of brilliance?
He is not an individual brilliance type of player like Hazard. He can do it from time to time, but dribbling past several players is not his game.
He links up well and uses clever movement to create chances for himself. When he gets a chance, he scores most of the time.

I agree. Pogba probably isn't the type of player to get 20 goals a season so why do we want him as a box to box? I also think it's wrong to say he's an inconsistent passer/is an impact player. The reason why he has been like that is because he has been playing in a position that allowed him to be that. Also, he has the ability to be a world-class playmaker. He was making long passes over Hull's defence all day today, like Scholes used to do. Not even Carrick does that.
Basically, Pogba is our Carrick replacement.

Taking into account he started off the season in bad form, he really is a special player. He's been sinking goals from everywhere the past few weeks since hitting form again.

If we sign him play him in a 4231 behind ibrahimovic with Mkhi and martial on the wings. Pogba partnered by a solid as feck central defensive midfielder and I mean solid as feck because to play in a 2 with Pogba your basically on your own. I would sign N'Zonzi personally.

It's funny because Pogba played better in a 2 spraying fantastic balls from deep where we bottled it every time. He can play there just needs a solid partner.
Bringing Greizmann in means it's vital we strengthen midfield. I'll bet my house on it that we won't replace Carrick like for like, we'll sign a big all action ball winning midfielder.

If he really signs for us now, with the prospect of missing out on CL football while playing at one of the favourites for this title it would be one further proof of our stature and mojo as club (and money of course). It would make me awfully happy to have him and at the same time incredibly sad that we can't repay it on the pitch. With him in our team there wouldn't really be any excuses left....
They could well miss out on UCL themselves this season. They are pretty much out of the title race for now

I know, and i also don't think they will have any say in the CL this year, let alone next year without him. But still...it's a huge statement regarding our pulling power. Do you think any club in the world bar Real or Barca could buy players like Pogba or Griezmann while not playing in the CL? I very much doubt it. I hope we are showing our stature (top 3 of the world) on the pitch soon..

He's a good all-arounder who works extremely hard and was probably the most efficient finisher in the world last season. His finishing hasn't been as deadly this season but his playmaking's improved.
And Zlatan too. Griezmann is wasted on the wings and insufficient to play a midfield 3 with Pogba.
I'm a fan of his but he's not so good that he won't come in and just fall into the same rut as the rest of the squad. We seem to just wilt away these talented players until they're as crap as the rest of the squad.
In that case we will go ahead and sign a big (talented as well) target man as well. Don't think Jose has had a team where atleast don't have one. Drogba, Diego Milito, Benzema, Costa, Ibra x 2. I don't think, personally of course, that Jose will completely "betray his own system seeing as he has been a successful with it.
I don't know how Greizmann fits in our current line up. While he is immensely talented, I don't know what plan we will have for him in our starting line up. I would be a lot more excited if I didn't have the bad taste, of the frustrating draw today, still in my mouth.
We won't keep on with this midfield 3 nonsense, lacks one attacking player, which was clearly visible in the last games. Harmless as feck. Pogba will have to settle playing in a midfield 2, may it be his best or not. A team with Ibra, Griezmann, Martial (inform) Micky and a 2-midfield with Pogba is better and more dangerous then taking one of those offensive ones away for a midfielder like Herrera. Pogba will have to settle for this. Not getting the very best from him? Well i'd rather get the best out of Griezmann and Martial. Griezmann especially. Griezmann at his best is a game changer that can destroy every team - yes, including Real, Barca and Bayern - on his own. Pogba at his best is a class offensive 8.
