Terrible source and 12 months early. 10/10 muppetry. Pat on the back to all involved.

Im not saying that I am in the know or anything but I work in a very large marketing company. Yesterday I was in the the main conference room with the board of directors and I asked them if there was any truth in the Griezmann transfer rumours. The chitter chatter was cut short and the room turned to silence. The CEO slowly turned his chair to face me and said "put the tray of tea and biscuits down and get the feck out"

There's a release clause if we want him we will pay it.

I'm not sure I believe that, is it definite? if so why did we not just buy him now? Maybe he's got a Ronaldo last year at United deal, he has said he wants to go somewhere but is allowing simeone to have him for another season while he decides on a replacement.

Well I work in two large marketing companies and got called the c word

If he has a release clause this should be fairly straightforward. Its not like we cant afford it.

Wasn't Griezmann linked to Chelsea in the past when Mourinho was there still. I'm sure Mourinho is a fan.

Mourinho wanted pogba at Chelsea (never was going to happen) jose came to United and pogba did too, wouldn't mind the same scenario happen for griezmann.

Timing wouldn't have been right in this window.

We made the signings we needed to compete in the league (including a huge outlay on Pogba), we're not in Champions League and Griezmann has unfinished business with Atletico.

Next summer would suit all involved.

Wouldn't surprise me if United make an early, informal approach for him early next year in a bid to get it tied up. Would depend on how Atletico's season is going mind.

So you are a corporate tea lady?

Griezmann is good. If we want the best, Neymar plays 10-ish for Brazil and is younger, faster, probably stronger, and scores more goals.

Are you not fatigued by transfer stuff? I feel like I need a 6 month hibernation before even thinking off that stuff again.

At it's peak, I was checking the Pogba thread about 50 times a day - no joke, it killed me and just thinking about those dark days is exhausting and depressing!
You can never leave the muppet life!

last transfer thread is outdated do a decided to make a new one.

Shite source, I know but thought it was interesting nonetheless.
Is there another superstar out there who your sure would bust his gut for the club?
Boyhood United fan and hasn't made any secret about it.
Mourinho was also constantly linked at Chelsea. I have no doubt that if he chose to leave Atletico, we'd be front of the queue.

Using this logic, we should be discussing everything interesting from shite sources.

DDG
Fabinho - Bailly - Rooney - Shaw
Verratti - Pogba
Bale - Griezmann - Martial
Zlatan

I can visualize Rooney's cross-field passes to Fabinho already

Imagine an attack of Mkhitaryan, Ibra, Griezmann, Martial, Pogba charging at you :)

In a hypothetical scenario, would everyone prefer Griezmann, and continue to play a 4-2-3-1, or signing a right sided top class central midfielder (Koke, Saul, whoever you want within reach) to play Pogba at his best in a looser role in a three man midfield?

Honestly couldn't care less about his price tag, we're fecking loaded.

Adding him and finally replacing Rooney will add so much to our attack.

No idea if it has anything true there, but Griezmann to United in 2017 makes too much sense:

1) Arguably the only top 5 - top 10 player who will be available.

2) Reasonable price at 100m euros (for comparison Bale who isn't as good would cost more, and Neymar would cost the double of that).

3) Big United fan.

4) Buyout clause.

5) Plays in a position where United needs to replace the talisman and the United face of the last 7 years.

6) Mate with Pogba and probably Martial.

7) Very likable.

Second option. Big fan of Griezmann but team balance needs to come first.
