If Bayern is really interested in Griezmann, then he would take Müller's position and I can't see that happening. Unless Bayern is trying to find a replacement for Robben, thus moving Müller to the right wing and playing Griezmann as a secondary striker. However, still unlikely. Rummenigge also said that they won't pay >100M € for a single player and that's about the money you have to pay for Griezmann. ManUtd. has more money, that's the most important factor.

The club has already received Notification for the same .They will continue with their project of hiring players but not register them till jan 1 2018
Surely the transfer ban if it doesn't get overturned will affect us in any way.. I mean the guy has a release clause, pay that and there is nothing Athletico can do to stop us from talking to the player. It could of course make Antoine want to stay and not be seen to abandon them if you like but I don't see that being the case.

They've still got Torres, Carrasco, Correa, Gamiero for the forward positions. Griezmann leaving will be a blow, but not something that's going to kill them completely.

He's by far their best player, it will be huge for them. You just have to look at how they were performing early this season when Griezmann wasn't in form, they looked terrible.
Without him they'll struggle, especially if they continue with these tactics imo.

I'd be amazed if he would be willing to chuck in a move to further his career just because his current club can't keep to the rules. No guarantees that we will want him this time next year.

Has there? Where? All I've read last couple of days is that he has handed in a transfer request.. or certainly has told the club he wants to leave knowing full well that this ban could still be in place.
I was just explaining how it could stop the move, not saying I agreed with it personally. I don't know how Griezmann feels about Atleti and their situation.
If anything this further reinforces him to move IMO. Atletico are already off the pace, if they can't sign reinforcements they are going to get even further behind.
