At this point he's just trolling. No doubt folks will go into meltdown though!

No idea, I guess that they don't really have relationship outside of the national team. Among footballers, he is close to Godin and Vela, he also has a good relationship with Pogba but I'm not sure if they are actual mates.
 
I find it unbelievable that so few people have compared him to the most obvious player for United fans; Wayne Rooney!

Griezmann is a number 9/number 10 hybrid, just like Rooney. If we had Wayne Rooney in his prime we would have finished comfortably in the top 4 this season.

Still, only Hazard is better. I've never seen Sanchez run at a defender and beat him.
Dybala's a very similar player to Griezmann. They've got the same strengths.

I don't think you've actually seen Sanchez or Dybala if you genuinely believe that, Griezmann is nothing like either, whether he's better is a different question but I already said he's the most efficient goal scorer of the 4.

I always saw the similarity. Not many players play that secondary striker role nowadays. Rooney in his peak was better than Griezmann though. He had that sheer physicality and brute strength that can't be matched.

They are. Pogba flew to meet Griezmann in Miami last Summer.

That's possible, I haven't followed that relationship in particular like with Gameiro. I know that he is mate with a handful of south americans.

Among the french players, he's close to Pogba, Lacazette, Benzema and Evra. Gameiro maybe too.

I don't think that he's friends with Martial.

I think this can be what Griezmann will do here in Jose's system if he's willing to play him on the right side then he'll probably cut inside and join the midfield with Mikhi ( The AMF ) while the LW, possible Perisic if we bought him, will be the LW hugging the touchline all the time.

I think Jose's taking exactly the same way he build his last Chelsea side on if we're going for this :

One attacking full back : Ivanovic = Valencia
One defensive full back : Azpe = Darmian
DMF : Matic = Herrera, can bring another one
CMF with attacking roles : Fabre = Pogba
One wing hugging the flank : Willian = Perisic if he comes
One wing with freedom in the attack ( doesn't mean he doesn't have defensive roles, but while attacking can do what he wants and not restricted to position ) : Hazard = Griezmann, possibly
A classic number 10 : Oscar = currently Mikhi. Would love to get James as he's a much better classic number 10 for Jose than Mikhi tbh.
CF : Costa = ? . That's the missing piece for me. We have only Rashford at the moment and we can't enter the season with him and injured Zlatan. We need a striker this summer.

Good post.
A top striker alongside a right winger, a proper wide man who can give us width on right flank. Alongside Perisic (if we end up signing him), it would improve our midfield players, especially Pogba.
Imagine Griezmon infront of that setup :drool:
 
His relationship with martial would range from ok to nonexistant, same with Martials with Lacazette (which is more possible considering Martial was at lyons academy).

Not sure how that'd effect it. If United actually give a fk about Martial and understand him as a person, they should give him back number 9 next season... 11 and 7 are more special numbers for united anyway imo, 11 should go to Rashford and 10 to whoever the new striker alongside Greizmann is (if there is one)

Greizmann would definitely want 7... Beckham's his idol come on :lol:



I just hope theres no silly unprofessional shit regarding numbers like there was last season.

:rolleyes: No, it's a stupid question. Martial has been photographed multiple times laughing with players in training. After both our cup wins, videos were posted with him singing and joking around with each of Pogba, Lingard and Rashford. There is no reason whatsoever to believe Marital doesn't get along with his teammates, or wouldn't get along with Griezmann.

I don't think the club invested in him so much to let him go after one bad year. Also I don't think he will give up that easily.

Regarding buying player in his position, let's be honest he's our only left winger in the team. We can't enter the season with one LW who is rediscovering himself. It's logical that we should buy another one for a long season. Team > player for me.
