That's fair - but jumping on a new twitter ITK is just going to lead to meltdowns when he's inevitably wrong.



I see not a single real "hit" in here. Every single thing he's reported that was correct was in the news before he reported it, everything not in the news before he reported it was false and/or unconfirmed.

He's posted info taken from DMs with another person on twitter: (why would an ITK need to do this?)

- this is stolen from somewhere else as well.

There's still an element of ensuring complete fraudery isn't run rampant around the sub leading to more meltdowns later. It's been a month of people complaining that the info hasn't been great, then now people are getting upset about questioning it? I am truly truly lost.

the last time I'd updated myself on the Sancho ITK saga through muppetiers: it was all "yes everything is proceeding in a way that backs up our theory". This theory was of course highly exclusive, and there was always reference from their mods about the theory, never any outright explanation of it. finally it was exclusively dropped, and it's dull as dishwater. A highly fantastical diagram to say that Ed Woodward tries to spend as little cash as possible when organising transfer deals.

They may have nothing in the way of ITK info (despite apparently daily chats with a 'Sancho connection'), zero burden of proof, but they are wonderful at creating a brand, this absolutely has to be given to them.

United still entirely stalled as of today on Sancho. The deal is there. It’s been there for ages. Romano published the terms. 70+30+20 all installments. Board has to approve or it won’t happen, second they do the offer can go in and be accepted. They may even be totally ready to submit it as paperwork has been drawn up but it is not there.

What a meltdown :lol:. I've started checking regularly because it's like looking at a trainwreck.

There's literally no point in having threads if it's going to be an endless cycle of:

"Why can't people post ITK info directly" and subsequent whining when comments are removed for doing so. - This was LITERALLY the entire point of the muppetiers, to provide anonymity barrier and prevent what happened last summer which included Doxxing of real life individuals.

"Why are you removing this twitter ITK you jealous cnut". We always have, the ITKs here are posted here because they went through the channels and had a track record of correct information. There are 650 twitter ITKs created every day for United, there are maybe 2 good ones. Not going to allow shit ones to be posted all over, enjoy it on twitter.

"Waaaa I'm getting banned/muted/removed for criticizing ITKs". No you're not, and nobody ever has, you're getting banned for repeatedly spamming that you're getting banned for criticizing ITKs.

"Why do you not want the thread repeatedly spammed with the above 3 questions, telling people to message you privately is shocking clutches pearls?". Because these threads are the absolute antithesis of the muppetiers these days, and like I said above, some people can't help but misdirect their ire.

Sorry, but all your updates previously he was no where - I might be wrong, but front running a story by 12 hours or so (can't read the time stamp properly) is horse shit. We'd obviously be working on this longer than 24 hours if he gets pulled out a game today.

When you say Sancho is a done deal and give a date then back track like mad it’s embarrassing.

What have you got right that hasn’t also been an available news/twitter brief at the time of you backdating a claim?

So far nobody has given a clear answer to this.


So far everything you report has just been reported in the papers before you decide to release that someone told you about it.

No that's not what I'm saying is it.

How can your "ITK"s have intricate details of deal structures, negotiation points and progression of talks, etc, but only get the info about someone we've been scouting for months and is supposedly working on now, about 24 hours before he gets pulled out a match.

It's fluff. You either get small bits of info and nothing more, so you're heavily embellishing or you have good contacts in there and you actually know what's going on inside of a club. It can't be both.
 
Also that's under the assumption I'm believing your contributors are actually ITK, which I don't.

I’ve on several occasions now asked for a simple breakdown of exactly what has been correct before papers report.

It is consistently ignored.

Thing is that may well be the case but they have yet to put forward a convincing case of correct info.

Im open to the idea if they can show consistent proof. So far nobody has done this and it’s always been avoided.

It would shut me up for starters

They use the oldest trick in the book like stock market commenters, Peter Schiff is one for it. You call a crash is coming and when it doesn't, no one really cares or remembers how many times you got it wrong. When you go out on a limb and get one big call right, suddenly you're an expert who knew better than everyone or an ITK in this situation.

Yep. One of their ITK’s did say we were interested in VDB a while back as Ubergorp linked, but coincidentally Ajax related journalists were also linking him to us back then. Us signing VDB now doesn’t make that ITK right. But they’ll count that as them being correct.
