Your taglinePretty much this exact same story word for word came out a couple of weeks ago saying we also bid a huge sum. Nothing ever came of it obviously.

Does look rather raw.In case anyone's not seen this. Skip to 1min for actual footage.
You're just now noticing it?Your tagline
That was my impression too.Does look rather raw.

Very few. Which is why very few of them go for very large amounts of money. How many 19 years old attacker that aren't raw?

This. Has to be special to justify that amount of money. I'm not saying he isn't cause I haven't watched him before, but he does look very raw to me as well.Very few. Which is why very few of them go for very large amounts of money.
Messi and Ronaldo are the only one.
Ronaldo was still raw at 19 though. Messi already quite good though.Messi and Ronaldo are the only one.

I believe the Brazillian Ronaldo is the correct term. The real Ronaldo not cristiano.
Not sure which Ronaldo we're talking. Pato was looking very good, wasn't he? Rooney had just looked one of the best attacking players in an international tournament... Neymar?Ronaldo was still raw at 19 though. Messi already quite good though.
Nope, Fat Ronaldo has been the term for almost 10 years now.I believe the Brazillian Ronaldo is the correct term.

Yeh I get that, that's why I was fine with us paying near £30m for Shaw. I guess you should never judge a player on his YouTube videos good or bad, just his highlights video doesn't stand out to me.If he turns out to be great after a few seasons it'll justify the money, otherwise it's not. It's obvious that we're buying potential in this case, not a player who can perform to the level of a 37 mil player this season.
The pressure on him will be massive though, same as Shaw last season.
How good is he then?
All the more reason to be cautious about us reportedly replacing Hernandez, an experienced pro, with such a raw kid.How many 19 years old attacker that aren't raw?
Ha! A fair shout...Pele?
Pele?
At the moment he is a good player, probably better than Hernandez but in 2 or 3 years, he will probably be one of the best strikers.
That's even more annoying than real Ronaldo. A friend of my mate actually tried to justify it by saying it meant real as in "Real" Madrid, Cristiano had been there for about 4 seasons at this point.Nope, Fat Ronaldo has been the term for almost 10 years now.
Not worth £37m judging by that clip.
Christ.
Yeah, my initial thoughts too.
This really does have panic buy written all over it.
It is but, yeah, as is paying lots of money for teenagers.Him, too. When you look at the name we are coming with you realize that it's more than rare.
At this point, probably easier to just say "not Cristiano". Was my ultimate muppet signing back in my youthThat's even more annoying than real Ronaldo. One for the future. We need a more experienced striker. Now, if we had RVP as well...
