And S is for Spurs haven't won a bloody game yet.United have wasted the entire summer pursuing strikers that are out of your reach, and now ....
B is for Button. P is for Panic.

this sentence has me in stitches.B is for Button. P is for Panic.
True. But look at it this way. Would you rather spend 45 or 50m euros for Martial, 15m for Austin, 50m for Harry kane, or sign nobody? Because that's what it looks like the options are. And Martial can potentially become one of the best strikers around and exactly the type we need.Look at Depay. He's significantly further ahead and seemingly more ready than Martial yet it's a big step up, whilst I trust he'll get better it's clear we need quality right now. The lack of time and space afforded, the pressure on the player and the lack of freedom to express from Van Gaal will make it hard for him to impact us much this season I think.
I love to see us buy talent, but the price is crazy. He'd improve us but more by default than anything else, because we lack options up front. I think it'd be quite a while before we saw any real rewards from the deal.

Also, it's very similar to the price we paid for Rooney, a tiny bit more, but not counting inflation. We signed Rooney for 30m ish at 18. Martial is 19, turning 20, and would cost 35m pounds I think with the exchange rate. And you can bet a decent amount would be in add ons. Monaco need the money as well for ffp I think. I'm not sure there's much between Martial now and Rooney when he was 18/19 as well.Look at Depay. Watched him a handful of times, and without focusing on him at the start, he grabbed my eye right away. Really fast, strong, and a great dribbler on the ball. Has a good touch as well. Goes past players with ease, and plays along the front line either on the wings (haven't seen him out wide much) or up front. Still young so would be inconsistent of course, but can definitely make an impact right now.Does anyone know enough about him to give us an accurate assessment of key strengths and weaknesses?

I'd never heard of him until 45 minutes ago, but i've just watched one of his Youtube Skills and Goals compilations, and am now convinced he'll fire us to then title.
He's strong.
Thanks for rendering my post meaningless.Well it was only Veratti he threw off of him.
That's racist.Watching the match, wanted to get a look at him, with all their darker skinned players, its really hard to tell
But seriously, from the little I've seen him in this match, he definitely likes to take on his man, which is good....Although LVG would stamp that out
Nice poem, bro. He's already better than any of our strikers. He's got everything: technique, explosiveness, speed, power. I thought the other day that he would be a great signing. Hopefully it is not too late though. Monaco would fail in the league without him.

Next Henry.Sounds a bit like Agüero. Is he anything like him?
B is for Bottom Half. P is for Premiership. Which is where you currently are.
This is the kind of talent you miss on and in a couple of years people will be crying on here that we didn't get him.
