Ver interesting.
Fairly certain Aubameyang and Firmino has been getting shite thrown at them all season. Firmino's been getting it for years

Rashford was extremely lazy yesterday. Perhaps uncharacteristically so but there’s no excuse for it. We were overrun by a shite SHU team and couldn’t produce anything at all. Worst performance in years.I just find it somewhat amusing that there's no boundaries to how people will describe Martial for his half arsed attempt at Sheffields second goal, yet compare it with what Rashford did in the above clip and the response that gets...Weird
Martial at least had a chance or two that he might’ve scored last season. Rashford looked lost, lazy, uncompetitive. It highlighted that a lot of Rashford’s contribution comes from his work rate and when it’s not there he’s half the player.I don't think Rashford was worse. He had a few nifty runs (the one where he drew a yellow card comes to mind.) Rashford was shite on the whole (and that play where he just stands there as the Sheffield player waltzed towards our box was ridiculous), but Martial was a whole new level of shite.

Rashford also had a decent chance that went just wide. Again, I think he was way below par, but Martial was absolutely useless (although of course it could be argued that he had a legitimate goal ruled out...)Martial at least had a chance or two that he might’ve scored last season. Im sick to death of his care free demeanour. Just get rid and go all out for Haaland.
I agree. Talent is far more than dribbling. Football is a team sport, not some individual dribbling contest. Even in that regard, I'm sure cutting from the left alone wouldn't put him near the top dribblers. Honestly, what makes him better than Zaha?He doesn't. I think people place his ability higher than what it actually is. He is no Thierry Henry talent "with a shitty attitude". We think all our players automatically have world class talent but very few players actually do.
He is 25.....should be more than flashes. 6 years at a top club....6 years. He's a sign of how far our standards dropped. Imagine Fergie being blocked and sacked eventually because David Bellion showed flashes of talent.Pretty much agree with this, although in this moment, I wouldn't be sad to see him sold in the last few days of the January window.
All of whom have shown brilliance prior. Martial on the other hand....Fairly certain Aubameyang and Firmino has been getting shite thrown at them all season. Firmino's been getting it for years

You may have forgotten about Anderson.
Anderson didn't start the majority of our games. Fergie preferred to even use Giggs with Carrick at times instead of Anderson.
Anderson spent 7 years in rotation, of which he was poor for about the last 3. He consistently had Carrick, Fletcher, Scholes and Giggs at different points ahead of him. He cost us relatively low in wages and did not demand to start games or sulk when he didn't get what he wanted. That's very different to Martial.7 years at a top club, so to claim out standards have fallen may be an exaggeration. Yes Anto has more appearances but persisting with under-performing players is nothing new here.

Turns out Mourinho was right to try and get rid in hindsight, of course all of us (myself included) crucified him for attempting to sell.
I've fully lost my patience with him now. Last season offered me hope that he'd finally kick off with us as a productive goal scorer, but alas he's gone two steps back again. We won't be challenging for any major honours with both him and Rashford leading our attack, and of the two I'd keep Rashford for his work rate, send Martial to Conte/Poch/Whoeever will take him, and bring in a proven goalscorer.
Maybe he is sad because we signed Cavani.
Like he was sad when his LW position was stolen from him that year
Like he was sad when #9 kit number was taken away from him the other year
You may have forgotten about Anderson.
Greenwood is currently a worse CF than Martial so we would be weakeningHe's contracted until 2024... It'll be very hard to sell him, as i don't think any club will be willing to match his salary.. But in a ideal scenario, we sell him this summer and buy Sancho. Greenwood would take his place as CF alongside Cavani. In 2022 we try to bring Haaland.
Have a winning mentality Martial does not. Very weak he is. Transferred he should be.We are simply not going to be winning league titles with Martial as our main striker. We need to either give Mason a chance playing centrally (when Cavani doesn't play) or go and get someone like Haaland.
Martial's attitude last night was appalling. I get the sense that he's not really that bothered when we lose.
Bollocks, I would pick greenwood in a heartbeat.Greenwood is currently a worse CF than Martial so we would be weakening
He can’t hold the ball up yet or link play. He’s a stunning finisher but he needs time to develop.Bollocks, I would pick greenwood in a heartbeat.
His link up play is far better than Martials. He can’t hold the ball up yet or link play. He’s a stunning finisher but he needs time to develop.
Nonsense of such a high order. His link up play is far better than Martials.
If it was Ole would have used him in all these games as a CF when our other forwards were misfiringHis link up play is far better than Martials.
He needs experience so it would have been the best time.If it was Ole would have used him in all these games as a CF when our other forwards were misfiring
He's the most Arsenaly player to have never played for Arsenal.
So he'll probably start against Arsenal on Saturday... and do an Arsenal.
There is no way you can seriously and confidently believe that. There isn’t a shred of evidence to back it up.His link up play is far better than Martials.

Should Martial be dropped absolutely but don’t make stuff up.
Ole can very well freeze the player if he thinks that is what needs to be done. Lingard kept playing and playing and then vanished. He should definitely be dropped completely on Sat but we know Ole hasn't got the balls
