He looked ecstatic sat on the bench, proper proud of himself. It’s nice to see him smiling so much. Bless his cotton socks.
Was brilliant.

Believe it or not, in 2010-2011 (Berbatov had 21 while Hernandez had 20). We were close in 2012-2013 (RVP scored 30, Hernandez had 19) and in 2013-2014 (RVP scored 18 while Rooney had 19).When was the last time we had 2 players scoring 20 plus goals?
Would be tough but with the fixtures we have he can do it. Rashford could also! 25 in all competitions for each of them could also be achievable which would be brilliant. He needs to break another of this jinx by scoring 20 in the league, 6 needed in remaining 7 games. No one has done this since RVP on same 12-13 season.
Glad Ed told him to feck off.And to think Jose wanted to sell him and get Willian! The thought alone makes my chest feel tight.
If we can get between 15-18 goals in remaining games, I can see Martial hitting the 20 mark. That will also set him and Rashford up nicely for the Europa league fixtures.Would be tough but with the fixtures we have he can do it. In an alternate universe, we'd be seeing Willian and Perisic on the wings hoofing it to Lukaku up front in the hopes of staying in the top half of the table. Pogba, Rashford and Martial all sold for peanuts. Greenwood never seeing the light of day. Bruno Fernandes smashing it at Spurs. The darkest timeline. And to think Jose wanted to sell him and get Willian! The thought alone makes my chest feel tight.
Dont forget Fellani behind Lukaku tooIn an alternate universe, we'd be seeing Willian and Perisic on the wings hoofing it to Lukaku up front in the hopes of staying in the top half of the table. Young and Valencia still at fullback. Good times.Dont forget Fellani behind Lukaku too
More Karim Benzema or maybe Henry style of play.Does he remind anyone else of Berbatov?
Maybe just me, but as a striker, his style and some of his finishing is very similar. That lob today reminded me of Berbatov
Premier League hat trick. Think he scored his first one in 06/07 and then didn't score another until Ronaldo left.
Fecking hell, when you put it like that...In an alternate universe, we'd be seeing Willian and Perisic on the wings hoofing it to Lukaku up front in the hopes of staying in the top half of the table. His reaction after realizing
Where are all haters with their stupid agenda?

Benzema is a really apt comparison. Maybe not quite the same workrate but certainly that style. If he keeps developing he could very much turn into that kind of player.More Karim Benzema or maybe Henry style of play.

He is a frustrating player that’s for sure. But you can see he has so much potential. He reminds me a lot of Berbatov. Skilful yet lazy. I feel if Martial put in a bit more effort and made a few more runs he’d add a lot to his game. He seems to be coming on but only time will tell. Can’t believe that’s our first united hatrick since RVP 7 years ago!
