Ice in his veins, never missing that pen. Deserved goal, that was all him.
Lingard is clearly not ahead of him in the pecking order.Rashford and Lingard being ahead of him in the pecking order is taking the piss
I don't think it was Lukaku's pen to give away. He missed a pen so he's already down the pecking order.Rom giving it to Martial...class.
Or maybe the manager should understand that attacking players especially young wide players can be very inconsistent and just put more trust in him instead of taking him out of the starting line up each time he fails to score a goal?Shame he didnt perform against Basel, needs to cement that place. He has got a lot of ability.
That skill
I love how he took the ball to take the penalty. Deserved a goal

Bizarre post. Just have to shove Lingard in there even if it's completely untrue.Rashford and Lingard being ahead of him in the pecking order is taking the piss

Okay, noted, forgot about that.
Feel sorry for him Lingard got on over him as we know how poor he is. Glad he got the chance to come on and get his goal though.
Yes.Lingard's substition was tactical to halt Everton's growing influence in the game.
It doesn't mean that Martial falls behind Lingard in the pecking order.

Agreed.I'm fine with him and Rashford splitting the games if it means they get to start weekly, but at some point Jose will have to decide on one as a permanent fixture and Martial should be that man if he plays to his full ability. He's Robben, Ribery, Hazard level talent.
Also really happy Mourinho pointed to let him take the pen, he's rebuilding his confidence which is fantastic to see.

Lingard sub is nowhere defensive. He directly replaced having-mare Rashford role. Lingard at times stayed further up the pitch like a forward which not his natural position. He was meant to stretch play vertically. Before the second goal, Lingard could have made at least a goal, if not for the stonewall penalty call was missed by the ref.O no I can totally see why Jose did it, but for me I would of went with the attacking option rather than the defensive one, but that's the difference between Jose and the regular fans I suppose. Worked out for the best in the end so cannot complain. Hopefully now opens the door for Martial to start the next game.
