Possibly the most I’ve seen him involved AS WELL as doing a few nice runs with the ball. Specially from a start. Hopefully gets a goal

This there is no way you can double up on two players as quick and skilled as these two. If Mourinho wants an impact player offhe can should do a Van Gaal and pluck a youth player to build up. Our right side is just dead.
 
My favorite player since SAF. Not sure he is the best at penalities as he likes to stroke in shots! Great game tonight

That's the problem with trying to have discussions on here, people like you take one example to make their point while ignoring the bigger picture. The majority of time Martial struggles in league games, or at least doesn't look anywhere near as good as he does when playing weaker opposition. Doesn't mean he's a bad player, he's far from it. But he obviously still has a lot of improving to do to become one a truly great player, which is what we all want to see him become.
 
Did he mean that ricochet then? Started moving towards where it would land as soon as he flicked it.
 
Interesting how Lukaku was encouraging him there. At the risk of being a body language expert, looked like Rom knew he needs to stop slumping over and looking so defeated when he messes up
 
Played well mostly, but key moments let him down. But shouldnt be discouraged from trying all that he did, on another day he couldve scored 3. Just how it is sometimes.

Yeah quite possibly just the fact he moved so early made it look like he’d tried to use the defender.

Do you even know how many minutes he’s played in the PL? And what his stats are?

Looked deliberate to me. His reaction to hitting the pass was very instinctive as if he was anticipating the ball coming back to him. Almost moves before he's even hit the pass.

I read it as he played for the give and go so he was heading in that direction anyway.
 
Great today but lacked the end product. Funny that what I exactly wrote about Rashford the last game.
 
Unlike him that his final ball didn't come off and sometimes took one or two touches too many but he's so good to watch. He must frighten defenders too. Has to play against Chelsea.
 
He’s a monster. Didn’t come off for him today in the end but Ronaldo had many games like that for us before 06/07. He should absolutely start against Chelsea when we’ll need a player good at controlling the ball and carrying it but you just know he won’t. Rashford if anything was more suited to this game and Martial for Chelsea.
 
Didn't get the end product today but he did well otherwise. No complaints from me today.
 
Was trying too much i felt. Should have kept it simple at times. Certainly didn't play at 85% though - was all over the pitch today.
 
Just keep giving him the time on the pitch and the end product will be so much more consistent. His dribbling is ridiculous and creates so much. Hes taking his game up another level this season and just needs to be in the pitch, alongside Rashford. Every game we look reliant on those 2 (and pogba when hes on the pitch).
 
Good game again. End product let him down at times but he was the only person making anything happen. Plenty of nice link up play with that led to nothing due to the poor form of the players around him. Seemed more likely to beat everyone himself than the rest of the team actually create a decent chance.

Himself and Rashford are our only attacking threats at present and aren't allowed play together. Seems mental considering how crap all the other attackers are playing.
