I imagine probably not, the price was reasonably high for where his stock was at the time.
We let him go for buttons, I hope so.So, did we have a sell-on clause ?

It was reported at the time that we did have a sell-on clause. Though I don't remember the percentage.

Yeah given they have Saudi funds and in previous summers they signed Isak and Tonali, signing Elanga as your statement signing would be a bit disappointing for them. He could do well but if they still have high ambitions, it's not a good move imo.

We’ll get either 10 or 20% of the profits on this sale. So anything above £15m we should get 10-20% of it, a couple of mill, not bad.
