I imagine probably not, the price was reasonably high for where his stock was at the time.
We let him go for buttons, I hope so.So, did we have a sell-on clause ?

It was reported at the time that we did have a sell-on clause. Though I don't remember the percentage.

Yeah given they have Saudi funds and in previous summers they signed Isak and Tonali, signing Elanga as your statement signing would be a bit disappointing for them. He could do well but if they still have high ambitions, it's not a good move imo.
If the Geordies have £35m burning a hole in their pocket, we have another Antony available.

Same applies to Sancho and players here, probably fairer to rate them based on how they perform outside this cursed club than in it. Wouldn't be surprised if Rashford also excelled once he left.
Given his attitude towards United, am pretty happy with the move as well.

Makes me wonder why everyone is playing better as soon as they leave.
He's not really doing better though. The 2 goals he's scored in the past week were his first 2 of the season. He's not even a guaranteed starter for them.
