Only saw 20 minutes and his beautiful 2nd assist but the commentator said he was perfect all game apart from one bad touch. How's he playing?

So he's fit enough to make our squad
Don't forget Andrinho . Can't blame him if he doesn't sign the contract.Yeah but world class players like Lingard and Mata are ahead of him. We don't need players that can create some goals or score them.
Started for England this afternoon and has an early assist. Certainly suggests that he's not been injured recently.
Yes, but he tweeted out shortly after (same night) that it was nothing, and only a precaution. There's no mystery, he was subbed off injured in an U23 match a couple of weeks ago.

This.We should be giving him a run in the team at least as a substitute. Far more to be gained from playing him than the likes of Lingard.
Great to hear. He's done well in the U20 Elite league. 2 goals against Italy, changed the game when he came on against Switzerland and England got a late winner, 2 or 3 assists (if you count winning a pen as an assist) in the 4-0 win against Portugal.
Unfortunately his case has all the hallmarks of the Pogba debacle, at least Fergie could deliver titles and title challenges. If players that are keeping him out right now are still here in a couple years from now it only means that we would still be in this slump and our rebuild failed. He, Greenwood and Garner need to be given more minutes than they have been given, not only to keep them but to build them up as squad options as we have a paper thin squad and some of our squad options shouldn't be in the EPL let alone play for Manchester United.Him not playing is justified only if his senior replacements are doing well...They just don't.. at all.
Short term Mata is useful only in cup games, Lingard doesn't do anything significant at all and Pereira is massively inconsistent yet does now and then produce the goods.
Surely it should be Pereira vs Gomes instead of the usual Pereira vs Lingard in epl games, and Mata vs Gomes insteas of Mata vs Lingard in cup games. I don't get it.
He simply isn't that great. Red-tinted glasses.
He'll two games in the Europa league with United having already having qualified and should get a game against Colchester in the league cup quarter final.
Who's his agent?
Will he though? It's hard to believe he's only just got fit right in time for the England games but has been injured for all our under 23's games
On the other hand it's completely believable he's been told he wont play for any of our sides until he's signed his contract
Found this on youtube, not much, but the goals atleast:Anyone have any video or gifs of the Portugal game? I can't seem to find anything yet.

Is this in response to anything or just you thoughts? I think he looks very talented and that United are handling his development very carefully.
I dunno, I just like to provoke... in all honesty, I think he's way overhyped. But then again, I normally struggle to like players with physical anomalities in football.
Take off your blacked-out glasses and watch the video above. He earned the penalty. Making 3 assists out of 4 goals. He simply isn't that great. Red-tinted glasses.
A dive against inferior opponent is not ideal for a young player to do..
Uhm, yes it does! No you are probably right he just recovered, makes sense, hopefully he'll get some games and sign the contract!England youth football is like playing in the reserves. You guys are making a big deal out of nothing, regarding him playing these games. Has anyone considered he may have just recovered from injury and these games were useful for him to regain fitness? Not everything has to be a conspiracy.
That's just it though. If it's like playing in the reserves, and he's clearly doing well, then maybe he should start playing senior matches to develop further. It's not like a player like Kai Havertz is keeping Gomes out. It's players like Pereira.England youth football is like playing in the reserves.
