Club sends out a GoPro to all transfer targets and dumps the stream on youtube every transfer window.

Exactly. A setup like this would be ideal really:

Agreed, but you can't really blame LVG for the injury crisis. He has to plan for what our team will look like when we have a reasonable number of our first XI available.
Oh I didn't blame LVG. Just pointing out to the fact that we need good wide players overlapping Herrera and Di Maria for that formation to work.

MNF on Di Maria

Nev: Blind is a LCB or a Left wingback or a Left back.
Carragher: Rojo is a LB who can also play CB

I haven't seen much of either of those players, but aren't both the experts wrong?

hopefully this will turn out the same way as robben and sneidjer. sold by madrid for no other reason than just to finance new golden toy signings but end up successful at their respective new clubs.

honestly still think 60 million is a bit too much but the most important thing now is to get better players and improve the team and di maria is upthere among the best in the world. missing out on the CL for another season would be a catastrophe.

Yup, unsurprisingly.

Rojo is a CB who can play LB. Blind is a DM who can play LB, and CB (badly)

Blind was a LCB/WB though. It was only last season he was put into midfield. Its like the Di Maria situation. You don't primarily call Di Maria a central midfielder do you? He was a winger who played in CM. I guess that was Gary's thinking.

Holds an Italian passport apparently, so won't need a work permit I think

According to google - and a few Di Maria related stories, a lot of Argentinian players are from Italian descent and so have Italian passports. Could be unreliable.

Its true for both. Many Argentinian players are of Italian descent and there's also a large number of Brazilians as well who share these ties to Italy. The name Di Maria is itself Italian. Spanish would be 'De' not 'Di' which is Italian.

On another note but connected to Di Maria's transfer, is it true Real are about to sign our own Varela on a 12 month loan with an option to buy? If that its true im pissed to be honest.

Messi, Mascherano, Crespo, Di Maria, Zanetti, Heinze, Cambiasso, Di Stefano, Maradonna, etc.

He's an angel of mary. Basically we can call him Gabriel.

I'm still shocked that Real are letting someone of his quality be pushed out, but we've seen it before with players at Real and luckily for us this time we are here to capitalise. Regarding the fee I believe we have overpaid for him, there's no doubt about that, but do I care? Do I feck! That fee will be forgotten about the minute he rips defenses up for fun and bring back some of that much needed spark in our football what has seemingly gone missing for the past year.

The surprising thing is they're letting him go despite how important he was last season. Before when they let class players go, they were usually luxury players as they say, those who didn't do much defensive work but great going forward and just replacing me with better and more expensive players.

This though is just weird. He played arguably the most important role in the team in the second half of last season, dominates every big game he's in, is a very hard worker along with being a tremendous and versatile footballer. It genuinely boggles the mind as to why Perez wanted to sell him. They're getting a good price, overpriced by about 10m, but they'll really miss him I think.
