Guillem Balague has been discussing the Angel di Maria deal on Sky Sports' Revista de la Liga programme tonight. He says the Real Madrid winger only had eyes for Manchester United once the Premier League club's interest was confirmed...

His entourage is saying that as soon as they found out Manchester United were in the equation then there was no PSG or anyone else, they just wanted to go to Manchester United.

Not to steal Simon's moment here but I found a fiver in my back pocket earlier than I'd forgotten about which is pretty momentus tbh.
 
Its a shame that being out of the top 4 meant that we couldn't attract the likes of Lambert and Lallana. I suppose Di Maria will do though.

But what about CL, and Paris, and $$$??? I thought United weren't able to attract good players anymore...

Same thing happened with me too. Doctor asked us not to break the news anywhere, but I was playing WW and told everyone. Expecting a baby girl on January first week. Pretty excited to be honest.

According to french reporters the only thing that made him think twice was the city, his wife prefered London or Paris, but for Angel himself the premier league and Manchester United (and probably the wage) were big enough, to "accept the city".
