You do realise once this deal is done you can never use money as a tool to beat us and City ever again Mr Smashing the British transfer record! ;)
Yes, we will. We have earned our money over decades of success and building the club. In fact we have to give most of our money to pay the Glazers debts off. You had your money given to you by one man.

I find it hard to believe that City and Chelsea fans can't grasp this simple concept.

I couldn't care less really and that has nothing to do with your orig stupid point has it. The only reason why you and City haven't spent yet another £100mil this window is because you can't because of FFP.
FFP doesn't work well for small clubs.

We are well ahead of FFP, its City snd PSG that have to worry about that.

Which they havent up untill (maybe) now.

We've spent quite a bit over the past 4/5 years to be honest (mainly on the wrong players) that was the issue, which seems to be changing now (they don't pick the players)

What do you think United does? You want to see how much your debt is compared to ours? I haven't checked in a while but I'd say we're not that different in that regard.
Utd were leveraged into debt. We're a perfectly self sustaining football club. Our owners may have borrowed money but the club hasn't.

So have lottery winners, but you dont consider any of their achievements less rewarding.

So one minute you say we can't have a go at your lot over spending money anymore and then you say our owners haven't spent any money for us.
Chelsea fans for you.

It wasnt entirely serious, hence the wink.

Lottery winners achievements are definitely less rewarding than the man who worked hard to achieve things on his own.
Surely you can see the difference.

And we're a bunch of Franco loving fascist crooks. Apparently....
I didn't see anyone saying you were fascists. I seen somebody point out that your Government have been generous to your club. Does that statement hurt?

Not really, its what you do with it, I know of people who worked hard and ended up alcoholics or drug users, they didnt deserve their money. You would say they are harder workers, but not less rewarding.

Wait, they didn't deserved their money because they are alcoholic or drug users ?

Oh and Madrid are much better? Spain are having serious financial issues, whilst at the same time Madrid loan hundreds of millions from them to fund their insane spending spree.

What does Spain financial issues have to do with anything here. Madrid is in debt just like United, but the club actually makes money (you know, profit at the end of the fiscal year), just like United.

So were's the difference?

I don't think you realize the difference between United, Arsenal, Madrid, Barca, Bayern on one side and Chelsea, City, PSG on the other. You see, the latter three wouldn't be able to function like they do in normal economic circumstances because no bank would loan them the money to buy these expensive players, simply because they would never be able to pay them back. That's the reason why FFP has been introduced, because those three would eventually make life impossible for the clubs like United or Madrid. They would never need to balance the books and all the other honest living clubs would pay the price for that.

Btw, do you know that even the most successful companies on fortune 500 are almost all in some kind of debt. Debt by itself is not good or bad, debt is normal. It's what enables us to live a better life and it enables the clubs we support to sign top players.....and it also makes the world go round.

No, if they waste their money such, they didnt deserve to have it. Not when it could go on things much better.

I think this might just be a fake post to be honest guys. I've looked at the arrivals board for Manchester and i can't see anything coming from Madrid. They might not show private planes, but i can't see anything at all listed, not even a flightplan

Probably the exact reason why they are exactly that!

A tad overpriced for someone who doesn't score hatfuls. But I'm glad we got him, but like Fellaini, we've had our pants pulled down on the price..... All because of desperation!

When Arsenal have spent more than £100m in the past two transfer windows, whats the problem if we do? Also we are still spending the money we have earned over the years unlike getting money from a sugar daddy.

Well, i've just looked at FR24 and there is a H25B aircraft that has just took off from the Madrid area, but i'm not sure where it's going too, as it won't show their destination, but it's travelling north, well it was, but now it's heading back south haha

Edit: Nah it's just FR24 messing up, its still heading north

Of course we can, our money was made from the success our club has enjoyed over the years. City's money comes from oil and real estate.

Your clubs are the reason the market has become as skewed as it is. With the likes of City, Chelsea and PSG pretty much handing clubs blank cheques as transfer bids for players in recent years, the asking prices have inflated.
