He's played 4 games for Liverpool this season. Would have actually scored a goal if it weren't for Phil Neville.

Anderson is better than Lucas so far, better in his previous clubs, better all round reputation and better so far (having gotten better chances) in the Premiership.
Potentially could change in the future but all the signs are Anderson has more untapped potential still.
Would need to see more of both to know better.
Tevez vs Torres:
Tevez has a better goalscoring record, while being a support striker not main striker. Would be interesting to compare their assist records too though. Also were either penalty takers/free kick takers to boost their stats that way?Tevez has gotten player of the year awards and shone in his league, Torres has played in a higher level league and been great in patches.
Torres has been relatively inconsistant, Tevez more consistent.
Tevez slightly younger.
Torres has a great start to the league scoring quite a few goals missing a lot of chances, but Tevez has scored too, I believe the same amount so far this season, and also missed a lot of chances.
Torres is in a new team, and adjusted quick. Tevez showed he was a slow starter for West Ham, does have the advantage of some adjustment time but has joined a new team again too, his link play style making this more important to him by a tiny bit.
Overall records get better as you get older, the poorer realatively speaking years being the very early matches of their careers, meaning Tevez's stats so far are more representative of these early years and will go up more probably.
I'd give it to Tevez tbh so far for his overall record, by a hair, we need time to judge this one yet. Agree somewhat on the hard to compare player when their styles and potitions are different, particular stats must be weighted by importance to their styles and postitions, eg Tevez's tackle rate would be higher than Torres but the role Torres plays means this isn't as important to him as it is in Tevez's more withdrawn role

As far as Anderson v Lucas goes Anderson gets in our team week in week out whereas Lucas cant even make the bench most week for the scousers and it obviously goes without saying making our team is a hell of a lot harder than it is Liverpools just ask Sissoko, Voronin, Kuyt and Pennant

Back on topic, i haven't really seen much of Lucas at all but Anderson is one hell of a player and i highly doubt that Lucas could possibly be as good as him. I'll have to start looking at Lucas because he could be a genius for all i know.

Lucas is a very good player to be fair, but Liverpool already have players very similar to him, Mascherano and Sissoko. Granted Sissoko's shite and Mascherano might be going to City..

Anderson obviously is miles ahead of Lucas in terms of development. Having said that, Lucas could turn out to be a very good player. The fact that Anderson has been playing regularly and dominating in the Premier League is in itself proof of his superiority. If Lucas was as good, believe me he would be played ahead of Sissoko and possibly Mascherano.(Based on form)

Lucas looked like anything but a holding midfielder tonight. I was surprised at how many times he got outmuscled - he made some nice runs and passes in the first half, but whenever he went into a challenge he ended up being the loser.
